TOM'S JOB-trabajo de tom

Tom works at a bank. He is the manager. He starts work every day at 8:00 am.
He finishes work every day at 6:00 pm He can’t have breakfast because he
gets up late. He lives very close to the bank. He can count the money very
fast. He walks to work every day. His brother and sister also work at the bank.
They can count the money fast too. They don't live close to the bank. They can
drive cars to work. They start work at 9:00 am. Tom likes his job. He is very
good at his job. Many people like Tom and they say hello to him when they
come to the bank Tom likes talking to the people and make them feel happy

los pasos para una mejor comprensión lectora con lo cual pido la participación de los estudiantes
1. first Reading. First of all , read the text quickly to have a general idea of what the text is
about.

1-primera lecrura: leer el texto rapidamente para tener una idea general de que trata el texto.

2 identify keywords. Identify keywords such as names, actions characteristics, abilities, etc.

2- identificar las palabras claves: identifica palabras claves como nombres, acciones y
caracteristicas, habilidades etc.

1. Scanning. Take a quick look at the text, looking for specific words. Do not read in detail,
just locate them in the text ( key words)

3- Eche un vistazo rápido al texto, buscando palabras específicas. No leer en detalle, solo
ubicarlas en el texto (palabras clave)

2. Highlight relevant information. Take note and highlight the phrases and expressions you
find in the text related to the topic.

4-Resaltar información relevante: tomar nota y resaltar las frases y expresiones que
encuentres en el texto relacionado al tema

3. Verify. Reread the text to check if you understood it.

5-Verificar: vuelve a leer el texto para comprobar si lo entendió
