ENGLISH SKILLS FINAL PROJECT 10 EGB

MAIN OBJECTIVE:
 To use the four macro-skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking) in order to complete tasks in order to engage students
with a specific topic which is chosen by themselves, taking into account their own interests.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
 To listen for specific information about the chosen topic.
 To complete a reading comprehension task about the chosen topic.
 To reach better understanding of a topic by producing a final writing task.
 To present a speaking task by producing a video.

DESCRIPTION:
Reading Comprehension Task:
Students will be told to complete a reading comprehension task through the use of google forms which was used in the past English
zoom sessions in order to deepen the chosen topic.

Listening Comprehension Task:


Students will listen to an audio sent by the teacher with some questions to check understanding.

Writing Task:
Students will complete a writing task according to their Topic (blogs, articles, reviews, paragraphs, essays, letters, stories, etc.) 250
words.

Speaking task:
Students will use their speaking skill by presenting a 3 min video to show different situations around the main topic.

EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Reading assessment criteria:
By using google forms students will read the article according to the unit they chose, they have to answer a short questionnaire about
to check comprehension on the topic.

Out of 15 = 21.5% of the final project


Listening assessment criteria:
Students will receive an audio track according to the topic they chose, after listening to it in a zoom session they have to complete a
second short questionnaire to check his/her understanding on the topic.

Writing Skill assessment criteria:

Out of 20 = 28.5% of the final project
