The Namibia Cycling Challenge 2023 entails a thrilling 6-day cycling event that will encompass some of Namibia's most
cherished destinations and journey through iconic locations: the Skeleton Coast National Park, Save the Rhino camp, the
Huab River area, the majestic Erongo Mountains, and Ongeama Nature Reserve.

ESSAY

One of the responsibilities for the selected challengers will involve composing write-ups and
articles related to the Namibia Cycling Challenge. This entails documenting your
preparations, training, expectations, and overall experience as you undertake the challenge
to support a charitable cause. In not more than 100 words, provide a clear, concise, and
original answer to the following questions.

1. What motivated you to participate as a challenger in the Namibia Cycling Challenge?

THE CHALLENGES ITS SELF MOTIVATED ME TO TAKE THIS UP AS ITS A UNIQUE
OPPORTUNITY FOR PERSONAL GROWTH, PUSHING ME BEYOND LIMITS, AND
EXPERIENCING THE THRILL OF ADVENTURE IN THE STUNNING LANDSCAPE.

MY PASSION TO CYCLING, THE CHANCE TO RIDE IN AN EVENT THIS IS A DREAM

COME TRUE, ESPECIALLY IN SUCH A PICTURESQUE LOCATION FOR ITS DIVERSE
TERRAIN AND WILDLIFE.

MEETING AND CONNECTING WITH LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS AT THIS EVENT

AND SAHRE THE PASSION FOR SPORTS AND CHARITABLE WORK, FOSTERED A

EVALUATE MY CURRENT FITNESS LEVEL, STRENGTHS, AND WEAKNESS IN

CYCLING, SET REALISTIC GOALS UNDER A GUIDANCE OF AN MENTOR, AND TRACK
MY PERFORMANCE MILESTONES

DEVELOP A WELL-STRUCTURED TRAINING SCHEDULE, INCLUDING DAILY AND

WEEKLY CYCLING SESSIONS WITH CROSS-TRAINING SESSIONS FOR OVERALL
FITNESS AND TO PREVENT INJURIES.

TO FOCUS ON MY ENDURANCE AND NUTRITION, PRACTISE CLIMINGINGS IN STEEP

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A N ANIMAL LOVER, BUT I HAVE NEVER VOLUNTEERED NEITHER I HAD A ADOPTED A
PET LIVING IN THE UAE FOR THE PAST 13 YEARS, AS I WAS AFRAID OF HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THEM AND
GIVE THEM TIME ALONG WITH MY WORK AND DUSY SCHEDULE ON DAY TO DAY.

BUT RECENTLY FROM LAST YEAR DECEMBER 2022, I MET AN ANGEL A SMALL KITTEN 6 WEEKS OLD SCARED
AND HUNGRY ABONDEDND BELOW MY BUILDING I COULD NOT NEGLECT HER, SO I ADOPTED THEM HERE. I
NAME HER cookie, IT’S THE BEST THING I EVER DID. EVER SINCE SHE CAME INTO MY LIFE IT HAS ONLY
BROUGHT JOY TO MY HOME AND MY LIFE, SHE TAUGHT ME THE POWER OF PATIENCE, COMPASSION, AND
DEDICATION TOWARD LIFE. AND I WOULD WANA TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE PART AND VOLUNTEER
FOR THE LOCAL ANIMALS OUT IN THE WORLD AND GIVE THEM IMMENSE LOVE AND CARE, KNOWING MY
EFFORT COULD MAKE A DIFFRENCE IN THE LIVES OF THESE ANIMALS.DDf

IMPACT, WE CAN SHARE THE SUCCESS AND APPROACH SO OTHERS CAN BE MOTIVATED TO CREATE A
MEANINGFUL CHANGE IN THE COMMUNITY AND I WOULD INSPIRE OTHERS FROM THE BELOW POINTS.
