This activity can enhance the learners to improve their skills memorize the

different safety precaution in doing an activity. And let the learners identify the
condition weather in hot or humid environment.

What I Have Learned
This lesson may help the students to remember the topic being discussed by the teacher all we have
to do is to answer the correct word to the underline to complete the sentence below.

Everyone engages in moderate to vigorous physical activity, you need to observe some personal
safety protocol to avoid certain conditions related to physical activity participation. These conditions
include hyperthermia, hyporthermia, overexertation, and dehydration. Each of these conditions
should be taken seriously for each pose’s health risks to you as an exercise. These conditions are
usually associated with exercising in different type of environment, like a hot or cold environment.
However, dehydration and overexertion may be experienced even when exercising in environment
that do not have extreme temperature.

What Can I Do
Let’s see how the students can answer this activity showing picture and identify this sports can be
suite to play in hot or humid environment here in our country. At the end the learners can answer it
correctly. Direction: I will show a picture, identify what features are common in sports clothing that
make them suited in Philippines weather. Explain your answer based on your understanding
knowing, that clothes are appropriate to wear during physical activity.

Explain/Reason

American Football can be played in humid environment because of its attire. The attire of American
Football is much more heavier and hot inside it can’t be played on hot environment like beach.

2. Beach Volleyball

Explain/Reason

Beach Volleyball can be played in hot environment because there is no specific outfit you need to
wear before playing this game. It can be played with your swimming attire.

3. Archery

Explain/Reason

Archery can be played both hot and humid environment because there is no specific outfit for this
just bring your bow and arrows.

4. Karate/Judo

Explain/Reason

Karate or Judo can be played both in hot and humid environment because the attire for this sport is
karategi and it is not hot inside and can be wear in both environment.

5. Baseball
Explain/Reason

Baseball can played both in hot and humid because as I watched the last baseball games the event
was both in hot and humid environment.
