HISTORY OF SCHOOL CARLOS FERMIN FITZCARRALD

Carlos Fermin Fitzcarrald was born in San Luis of Huari.

In a small town in the callejon of Huaylas, he finished his

studies at the age of 16 years old.

He settled in the jungle with the natives, exploding the

rubber. So he became like the rubber tapper. He died o
July 9, 1897 at the age of 35 years old.

The Carlos Fermin Fitzcarrald educational institution was created

on January 22,1965.It was signed during the firts government of
the president architect Fernando Belaunde Terry. This event
allowed access to education in San Luis, censuring that many young
people from different social strato attend secondary school.

The land where the school is built was generously donated by Mrs.
Edelmira Lopez. Younger sister of Carlos Fermin Fitzcarrald.

The first principals and July Castro. This 2023 celebrates its 58th
anniversary of creation. Thousands of students have passed
through its classrooms it has its own anthem
