1. The document provides general notes for a construction project, including dimensions being in millimeters and bolts requiring lubrication.
2. Bolted connections only need to be tightened to a "snug tight" condition where all plies are in firm contact.
3. The erector is responsible for using the correct bolt type and size in the right locations per the drawings.

2. All connection bolts are High Strength Bolts with Hot Dipped Galvanized Finish. Bolts to be lubricated and free from dust / debris. If the erector noticed any lack of such lubrication, he is required to lubricate them at site before tightening. 3. All bolted connections are classified to be in non-slip-critical category and therefore need only be tightened to the 'Snug Tight Condition'. A 'Snug Tight Condition' is defined as the tightness that exists when all plies in a joint are in firm contact. This may be attained by a few impacts of an impact wrench or the full effort of a person using an ordinary spud wrench. 4. It is the responsibility of the erector to ensure the correct type and size of bolt are used at correct location as per the erection drawings. 5. Continuous machine submerged arc welding (SAW) meets the applicable requirements of the American Welding Society (A.W.S) D1.1M:2007 6. Web-to-flange welds are 'SINGLE' side fillet welds in accordance with the 13th edition of the AISC Table J2.4 FFL Page 16.1-96 unless noted otherwise. -0.3m FROM FFL 7. All butt welds are double side, thickness greater than 12 mm are CJP welds with appropriate preparation. 8. Endplate to flange welds are both sides, thickness greater than 12 mm are CJP welds with appropriate preparation. 9. If the flange braces are required only on one side of the column / rafter the required gusset plates may be welded only on that side of the column / rafter. 10.
