2. Measurement of surface normal distance of each point in 5 cycles in 4 orientations with respect to 2 CAD models
Orientation 1 – basic orientation. Workpiece coordinate system is identical with world coordinate system.
Orientation 2 – rotation of workpiece by 90° around x-axis with respect to the basic orientation.
Orientation 3 – rotation of workpiece by 90° around y-axis with respect to the basic orientation.
Orientation 4 – rotation of workpiece by 90° around z-axis with respect to the basic orientation.
