After Shocks of SSC Result

All the BISE’s of K.P. announced SSC result on 22-08-2023. After the declaration of the
result E&S Education Department K.P. has decided to take action against the schools having
below 50% result.

Every time the Govt. beats up the trumpet of quality education but importance is being given to the
quality all the time. Although teachers are main stake holders but they are being ignored while
making policies. Instead of taking their opinion, decision is being imposed upon them. Here the
matter is to do or die. There is a famous saying that, “What affects all should be decided by all”.
But alas! Hence policy makers make policy according to their sweet will.

Hence some causes of student’s failure are pin pointed briefly.

1. Free Promotion
It has been directed by Govt. that all the children be promoted to the next classes and no
single child should be failed. The ratio of dropout should be minimum. Even detention of the
students in class 9th is banned and scrapped. Not student can be debarred from taking
examination. Student having low percentage of marks should be passed. Due to this
phenomenon most of the classes are over crowdy and pay attention to each and every child
is difficult for a teacher.
2. Diagnostic /Placement Test
The teachers should not conduct placement test in the school, if a student has come from
other than feeder schools. Every student should be enrolled in the school whether facilities
are available to him or not. So, poor staff also become part and parcel of the class.
3. Rebuking and Scolding of the Students
Teacher can not rebuke and scold the student for any unwanted behaviour and conduct. In
addition to these factors’ other factors i.e., nutritional deficiencies and misuse of mobile
Pubg also badly affects the teaching learning process of the students.
Quantitative education has put negative impact on students training i.e., training in
good habits like punctuality, regularity, honesty, hard work, obedience, respect,
thoughtfulness and cleanliness.
While training in democratic living, cooperative attitude, thoughtful, tolerant, regards
for feelings and ideas of other is being created.
Last but not the least is training in healthy attitude, i.e., student is being trained to be
realistic in life.
Now, almost all these trainings have become ineffective.
