High School that envision 21st Century Learners who are holistically-developed and globally
competitive citizens of the world. With this vision, the project is aimed at empowering and upgrading
teachers by conducting INSET that will provide technical assistance and support. It is also expected
that through the collaborative efforts of the school head, teachers and other stakeholders, especially
the parents the school banner project SAGKA will deliver optimum success among learners, who
are the heart and focus of this educative process.

II. PROJECT OBJECTIVES

To develop holistic and globally competitive 21st learner. Specifically, Project Sagka aims to;

2. increase MPS of the school’s NAT and in every quarter period.
3. Encourage stakeholders to fully participate and commit every school undertaking.

III. PROJECT BENEFITS

Through convergence among the Project Team members, SAGKA has come with 4Es:
1.) Envision 21st century learners manifesting necessary skills through facilitating learning in
realization of providing a motivating environment as a learner-centered curriculum;
2.) Empower teachers by providing adequate professional and technical assistance that
enhance teaching methodology in order to cater the learners’ needs;
3.) Encourage parents and other stakeholders to actively engage and participate in school
activities for continuous and harmonious relationship; and
4.) Ensure the sustainability of a quality learning that nurture the skills and talents of the
learners.
With the aforementioned objectives, it is projected that the school MPS on the National
Achievement Test will reflect growing performance; Dropout rate will be lowered; and the
participation rate shall be very satisfactory not only among the learners but also from other
stakeholders of the school since everyone plays a crucial role in the success of the project. This
project is likewise intended to create an approach that will really provide answers to our desires for
holistically-developed learners—the product of K-12.

V. PROJECT TIMELINE
VI. LEGAL & REGULATORY FRAMEWORK

This School level project is designed based on the principles and standards of RA 10533,
The Enhanced Basic Education Act and RA 9155, the Philippine Governance Act, otherwise known
as Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001, where it is stipulated that both the school and the
community should affirm commitment to support the offering and achieving excellence in the
academic preparation of learners and would develop their life-long skills that would meet the
demands imposed by today’s society. Consequently, the project SAGKA which stands for
Strengthening Academic Goals of the K-12 Agenda represents the School’s project banner.

Moreover, this project is anchored on the District project banner BAKTAS in its ultimate goal
seeing our learners in the 21st Century achieve academic excellence. The district and Project
SAGKA are one and up to this challenge. To assure congruence with the project’s ultimate goal, it
is further constructed in line with the K-12 updates.More importantly, the school banner project is in
accordance to what is reflected in our e-SIP.
