II. Rationale
Project UDWAG is a testament to Lalawigan National High Schools (LNHS)’
commitment and dedication to promoting quality, effective, and affective education.
It is in line to the Management’s drive to streamline the School’s efforts and
resources into addressing its Identified Divisions of Emphasis, Actions, and Supports
(IDEAS) grounded on its Key Areas of Management Developments (Access, Quality,
Governance). Project UDWAG is geared to promoting affective collaboration among
its stakeholders that would eventually yield the Department of Education’s dream of
seeing Filipinos who passionately love their country with values and
competencies which enables them to realize their full potentials and
to contribute meaningfully towards Nation building.
II. Rationale
This Project is basically founded upon these Key Indicators as recognized in the
School’ Identified Divisions of Emphasis, Actions, and Supports (IDEAS):

1. ACCESS – (a) Percentage of Regular Class Attendance, (b) Cohort

Survival Rate, (c) Graduation Rate;
2. QUALITY – (a) Overall Performance Rating based on MPS, (b)
Numeracy Rate, (c) Literacy Rate, along with the salient data on
Values Promotion
3. GOVERNANCE – Establishing of a satisfying as well as
gratifying learning and working environment

GOVERNANCE:

II. Rationale
With all these points taken into consideration, it has been apparent as well that
LNHS has been blessed with competent and capable educators. To verify that claim is
the existence of several teacher-made projects and programs where some of which
are aimed to address some of the strands noted in the School’s IDEAS. To consolidate
and to amplify all these efforts, the Management has concluded the need to redesign
its school banner project into a “Mother Project” where all these other programs will
be adopted. Thus, giving birth to this Project Uplifting Development Areas With
Intensive Academic and Affective Guidance and Teaching or simply,
Project UDWAG.
III. OBJECTIVES

Tuning of existing school programs and projects.
III. OBJECTIVES
This project aims to emplace its ALSA (Act, Lead, Steady, Appreciate)
System to address the necessities on its recognized School IDEAS.
Specifically, the project drives to achieve the following objective:

2. Launch LEAD-STAT Sequence: (a) LEAD: Lay Outing,

Executing, Applying, and Documenting the newly-
created and/or the redesigned programs and projects.

3. Institutionalize SALUDAR Ceremony to recognize and

to encourage better participation and contribution to
Project UDWAG.
IV. PROJECT DESIGN
This project will be anchored on its ALSA System. After its Anticipated
Project Launch, it will commence by implementing its ACT Course by
the working committee’s accounting of the existing and the necessary
project and programs to be crafted in line with the School’s IDEAS.

It will be followed by LEAD-STAT Sequence where the crafted and

redesigned projects will be thoroughly implemented and prudently
evaluated in terms of its i4 indicators (implementation, impact,
intervention, and improvement).

The conclusion of the ALSA System will be its Appreciation Stage

highlighted by the SALUDAR Ceremony in celebration and recognition of
the Project’s accomplishments and achievements.

After this stage, the Project’s focus will shift back to ACT Course to
complete the cycle until the completion of its purposes.
