THE CHILD AND ADOLESCENCE LEARNERS

Part 2- Evaluation of Learning

Family influences on the development of emotion can be seen in parenting practices, emotional family
climate, and different emotional learning experiences. Particularly, supportive parenting and parental
involvement play an important role in the development of emotional competence in adolescence.

In life there are many ups and downs that we will be encountering along the way but one thing I am sure
is that I always have my family that supports and motivates me no matter what happen. I grew up with
no father he left us when I was so young due to an accident. My mother was the one who raise me and
my two siblings and provides our needs everyday. As I grew up I can see my mother’s hardwork and
sacrifices from selling foods and other ways on how to gain money for us to be able to live but then I
also realized that even though she is that busy she always takes time to talk to us on how’s our day and
always gives us advices. I can say that she is very observant on our behaviors, she always corrects us
when we are wrong, taught us to be good and better person. My relatives and cousins also influence my
development because they are always there if I needed help. We are always reminded by them to study
hard, to do better and be better. And those advices by them are my inspiration to strive hard and always
do my best in everything that I do. It also help me grow as a person and develop me to be a better
version of my self. I’m so thankful to have my family that hone me to become who I am today even if I
am not that perfect but it open my mind to the things that I should do and not to do.
