PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL

CELEBRANT: Let us pray to God that this ceremonies be a moment of their new life with Him.
Let us pray to the Lord and say:
LORD HEAR OUR PRAYER

1. That the Church may respond to the call for conversion and renewal. Let us
pray to the Lord.

2. That people of goodwill may work together to put an end to war and hatred,
oppression and injustice. Let us pray to the Lord

3. That we may increase our awareness of the presence of Christ among the
poor and the suffering people. Let us pray to the Lord.

4. For the faculty and staff of Antonio Balmes National High School, that their
untiring efforts and guidance, may serve as a lasting inspiration for our
quest of truth and knowledge. Let us pray to the Lord.

5. For all Completers and Graduating students, that they may appreciate
deeper their accomplishment by using it for God’s kingdom and the good of
our country. Let us pray to the Lord.

6. That the sick maybe given strength and hope. Let us pray to the Lord.

7. That our friends and relatives who have died may experience everlasting joy
in the company of Jesus. Let us pray to the Lord.

CELEBRANT: Almighty God, listen to our prayers, open our eyes to your presence all around
us, make us closer to you each day. All these we ask through Christ our Lord.

CANDLES : We offer you, lord these candles, a symbol of your radiance and brightness that
lighted the dark moments of our life.

FLOWERS : We offer you lord these flowers, a symbol of your beauty and love, for the
experience of joy and gladness that made our lives colourful and meaningful, through
the eyes of our faith. You give us new ways of looking at the world, surpassing what
we thought a human could hold.

FRUITS : We offer you Lord these fruits of your abundant grace and blessings, the fruits of the
hardship and sacrifice we have labored with all our best.

DIPLOMAS : We offer you Lord these diplomas, symbol of our endless gratitude for the
knowledge and wisdom you grant us in return for our educational pursuit.

BREAD AND WINE: We offer you Lord this bread and wine, a symbol of ourselves, this beautiful self
you have created in your image and likeness

BLESSINGS OF DIPLOMAS

CELEBRANT : Let us call down God’s blessing on the diplomas that will be given to our
dear graduates.

CELEBRANT : Our Help is in the name of the Lord.

ALL : Who made Heaven and Earth.

PRIEST : The Lord be with you.

ALL : And with your spirit.

PRIEST : Let us pray, hold out to your faithful people, Lord, the right hand of heavenly
assistance, that they may seek you with all their heart and merit the granting
of what they ask. Through Christ our Lord.
