Genre of the story : Realistic Fiction: in which the characters and the events are very similar to real life, yet it’s still made up.

Setting = It is the time and place in which the story will be taking place.
Setting of the story : Time: August 25 – September 10
Place : United States/ Family house
Characters = They are people (sometimes animals and things) who are featured in the story.
Characters in the story : Kat, Kyle , parents

Conflict = The problem in story.

The problem in this story is that Kat and the family are moving to Japan for a whole year.
Kat and her brother are sad and annoyed because Japan is different than America.
