PFE Operation Procedure

1. Power feeding OFF

1) Press “STOP” button on OPERATION unit and wait for Power feeding
current/voltage ramp down to 0.
2) NFB OFF on all CONV unit.
2. Cable Head open
1) Confirm Power feeding OFF.
2) Discharge cable by pressing “10kohms” button on EARTH TEST unit and
waiting about 1minute, then press “SHORT” button and “RELEASE”
button.
3) Open HV cover from SW unit.
4) Make open condition in accordance with Fig.-1.
3. Cable Head short
1) Confirm Power feeding OFF.
2) Discharge cable if required.
3) Open HV cover from SW unit.
4) Make short condition in accordance with FIG.-1.
4. Alarm indication during operation
No Operation PFE Alarm EMS Display
1 Power feeding stop No alarm No alarm
2 CONV NFB OFF NFB Non Fuse Breaker Trip
3 HV Cover Open HC HV Cover Open
