POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1.) PAX SW TURN OFF - - -VCC.
2.) FAN-EXTRACTION, IFEC(255HU)
3.) VENTILATION CONTOLLER.(280HN)
4.) RLY-PWR , FAN,IFE VENTILATION(33HU)

NOTE:
1. B-16303 曾經於 MAY/13/2004 有一次,因 FAN-EXTRACTION, IFEC 故障造成 IFE SYS CAN’T
OPERATION.
2. 絕大多數應為C/P 因有 IFE SYS 問題而將 PAX SW-VCC TURN OFF再重新開機或AC PWR
INTERRUPT造成。
當此VCC PAX SYS SW為 OFF時,ECAM會有 “COND IFE VENT FAULT” MSG SHOW.

The priority logic of the main busbar supply is;

The NBPT allows two AC power sources to be connected in parallel during


the transfer phase.

AMM 21-23-00 PB 001 - LAVATORY/GALLEY VENTILATION –
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

The ventilation controller 280HN (Ref. 21-28-00) is the computer for the lavatory/galley
ventilation system. It controls the extraction fans 231HU, 255HU and monitors the
differential pressure switch 232HU and the galley/toilet safety switch 233HU.
The difference between the internal and external pressure causes an airflow from the galleys and toilets
into the extraction duct. If the difference in pressure is not sufficient, the extraction fan 231HU operates.
The ventilation controller 280HN controls the operation of the extraction fan 231HU automatically.

This additional LAV/GAL extraction FAN stops if:

1. The ditching switch 13HL is activated.


2. The aircraft is in flight with a difference between internal and external pressure of more than
1 psi (0.0689 bar)

On the Engine Warning Display (EWD) of the Electronic Instrument System (EIS),
COND LAV + GALLEY VENT FAULT is shown.

There are two smoke detectors 3WB and 4WB (Ref. 26-18-00) installed in the extraction duct.
If they detect smoke, the fan 255HU stops and the check valves close immediately.
