PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
 Is the promotion that explains what a product is and why it’s worth
buying?
 Is to provide customers with details around the features and
benefits of the product so they’re obliged to buy.
PROTOTYPE
 Prototypes are created to answer a set of questions.
 Test assumptions.
 Demonstrate how something works or could work.
WHY PROTOTYPE?
 Evaluation and feedback are central to interaction design
 Stakeholders can see, hold, interact with a prototype more easily
than a document or a drawing
 Team members can communicate effectively
 You can test out ideas for yourself
 It encourages reflection: very important aspect of design
 Prototypes answer questions, and support designers in choosing
between alternatives.
BENEFITS OF DEVELOPING A PROTOTYPE

PROTOTYPE IS TANGIBLE FORM OF THE IDEA


Prototypes don't have to be
primitive versions of an end
product, either-far from it. Example
of Prototype:
 Simple sketches
 Storyboards
 Rough paper prototypes
 Role-playing

 Research the market for ideas. Pinterest, Facebook, Internet etc.
 Brainstorm possible ideas
 Create a drawing of your prototype
 Write down all your materials needed
 Write the benefits of your prototype at the back
