AFFIDAVIT

I, FIRMO A. ARANJUEZ, Filipino, of legal age, married to Evelyn Gallares, and a resident of
Dauis, Bohol, after being sworn in accordance with law, hereby depose and say:

1. That I am the son and one of the legal heirs of the late Casiano M. Aranjuez;

2. That on December 28, 1997, we, the heirs of the late Casiano M. Aranjuez executed a deed of
Extrajudicial Settlement of Estate of Deceased Person Among Co-Heirs before Atty. Epifanio Bolando,
Notary Public, which was registered in the latter’s Notarial Registry as Doc. No. 358, Page No. 72, Book
No. XIII, Series of 1997;

2. That in the said instrument, we, the co-heirs, have agreed that the following lots shall be owned
in common by all of us, to wit:

 Cadastral Lot No. 1340 situated in Biking, Dauis, Bohol with an area of Two
Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty-Six (2,826) square meters, more or less, covered
under Tax Declaration No. 2003-19-002-01660 in the name of Narciso Aranjuez; and
 Cadastral Lot No. 2458 situated in San Isidro, Dauis, Bohol with an area of One
Thousand One Hundred Three (1,103) square meters, more or less, covered under
Tax Declaration No. 2003-19-008-00716 in the name of Casiano Aranjuez;

3. That we, the co-heirs, have agreed to apply for a Free Patent Title over the two (2) lots
described above. However, inasmuch as only one person is allowed to apply for such title, it was also
agreed that I shall be the one to stand as applicant therefor, in behalf of all the heirs of the late Casiano M.
Aranjuez, for purposes of expediency to facilitate the approval of our said application for Free Patent
Title;

4. That by these presents, I hereby declare against my interest and affirm that the two (2) lots
described above are not solely mine but are, in fact, co-owned by all the legal heirs of the late Casiano M.
Aranjuez, and thus, we, his heirs, are all co-owners of the said two (2) parcels of land, with equal shares
and rights thereof;

5. That I also voluntarily CONFIRM that my said application for Free Patent Title over the
above-described two (2) parcels of land with the DENR is without prejudice to our co-ownership thereof;

6. That further, I undertake to hold the said two (2) parcels of land in trust until such time that we,
the heirs of the late Casiano M. Aranjuez, shall have agreed on a project of partition and to have the
subject lots subdivided between all of us if and when my co-owners demand or so desire;

7. That I execute this affidavit voluntarily to attest to the truth of the foregoing statements for
whatever legal purpose this may serve.
