SCENE 1

EXT: NIGHT

CAMERA OPENS ON

The starry nights, vast expanses

Amelia humming on background ,

A man’s voice narrating

Forget the legends or doubt the myths but places and kingdoms exist . There was a place beyond the
physical called “kingdom" ,it was ruled by a demigod whose name was “orion" king orion had four
warriors he trusted . Orion was kind and powerful and with his mystery staff he was unbeatable, beyond
a ruler king orion was also one of the keepers of the realms, often he visited the human world to make a
change, until a great tragedy happened that changed everything.

SCENE 2.

EXT:NIGHT

AMELIA'S HOUSE

(Amelia, a beautiful dark skin girl, humming a song while standing on a balcony, as the night felt cool
and was filled with the December air, amelia sighted a shadow but wasn’t sure about what she saw
until the real image of the person came out of the shadows and it was a light complexioned young and
handsome man. )

AMELIA

Hmm, seems we have a new neighbour ,a charming one .

KING ORION

( Turns and looked at her ,adjusted his hat and smiled in admiration.)

AMELIA

(Talking to herself)

Why is he smiling ?

KING ORION

(Deeps his hand inside his suit pocket and brings out a cigarette and lights it up, puffing a large
amount of smoke out.)

AMELIA
 That’s not good for your health .

KING ORION

(Removes the cigarette from his mouth and bows his head then threw it on the ground and steps on
it, raised his head and looked at amelia and smiled again)

AMELIA

(Placed both hands on the balcony and stared in amazement, she removed them and covered her
mouth as if to stop herself from screaming)

You can really hear from a distance?

KING ORION

(shakes his head signifying no)

AMELIA

Then how did you hear me to have responded?

IVAN

Hey ,keep your hands where I can see them.

(Ivan is amelia's brother, a secret service agent on a coperate outfit ,he brings out his gun and
pointing it towards orion while walking closely and carefully)

KING ORION

(Raised both hands up and still staring at amelia in admiration)

AMELIA

(yelling at Ivan )

Let him go Ivan, he has done nothing wrong.

IVAN

(yelling back at amelia)

Stay out this , alright?

KING ORION

Shouldn’t u ask questions before pointing a gun?

( asking gently )

IVAN

We do ask ,but showing up here on a millionaire vampire's outfit at night in this estate is
suspicious. Have you any i.d ?
 KING ORION

No I don’t (he smiled)

IVAN

What are you doing around here?

KING ORION

Nothing, just taking a night stroll.

IVAN

What do you have on you?

(ivan trying to search him but he grips ivan’s hand very tight)

AMELIA

(Already outside)

Ivan what’s going on here ?

KING ORION

(Leaves ivan's hand and turned his face to amelia and he smiled again)

IVAN

Amelia get inside, am doing my job .(still looking at King Orion)

(Brings out his radio and radioed the night patrols)

AMELIA

Seriously?

(She walked inside angrily)

Scene 2

Ext night

(Ivan Inside a patrol van talking to king orion)

You seem like a pretty nice guy to me but you know a lot of robberies happened here lately, so when u
can’t provide an i.d you seem like a suspect.

KING ORION

Too much wickedness here, tribal war, religious war, family war. Hunger and Murder, suffering and
robberies (he chuckles) and at the end ,those who are just passing by are suspects but not those who
inflicted hunger on the land, too much hate in the human world

IVAN
 Humans? You don’t look like an elephant to me either, What’s your name by the way?

(No response from King Orion)

Hey, am talking to you

KING ORION

Orion

IVAN

What the fuck did you just say?(he chuckled a bit)the great mystery hunter, a demigod, children
bedtime stories, I get it. (he laughs gently) anyways you are right. I like your sense of judgement .

KING ORION

Only God can judge every being (cuts a bit)in every place. For in every place, even in the high places
there’s war, just make sure you fight for the things that are worthy.

IVAN

I don’t know you but I think i like your spirit, well I will keep that in mind .

KING ORION

Hmmm, spirit .

IVAN

(The van stops at the estate gate and they all came down)

Listen to me story man , I get paid for keeping the serenity of this environment in check, we don’t need
someone like you here, we don’t want any trouble, okay? Except you are prepared to be in a criminal
cage.

DRIVER (WILLIAMS)

Be careful, good night

(They laughed and drove off slowly)

KING ORION

(Speaks in a low tone)

Of course you will need somebody like me, and you should be more careful because there’s trouble
ahead, except you are prepared to die.

SCENE 3

INT:NIGHT

AMELIA’S ’s HOUSE
(Amelia angrily reporting ivan’s earlier behaviour to her dad)

Dad I’ve heard enough of ivan’s altitude each time he sees me talking to someone, am a grown up for
goodness sake. I can’t continue to have him monitor me in such an embarrassing way.

MR ADAMS

(Drinking his liquor)

Calm down Amelia, i can see you are really mad at something, what exactly happened ?

AMELIA

(Swallows a bit)

Alright, here is what happened, I was standing at the balcony getting some fresh air and I saw someone
walking pass the estate and...

IVAN

(Walks in)

And you don’t know him, Amelia don’t you ever get tired of unnecessary agitations?

AMELIA

No I don’t, because practically you now get to make decisions for me, you are choking my entire
being ,go get married ivan and stop following me like a generational curse.

MR ADAMS

(Keeps enjoying his liquor as he watches them)

IVAN

Am protecting you and is my duty alright?(he yells at amelia)

AMELIA

You being overprotective of me makes my whole life totally uncomfortable .

IVAN

Really? Do you remember when your prince charming lover gave you the beating of your life and you
sustained injuries like a soldier who barely survived a Vietnam War? and we both lied to dad that you
were attacked by hoodlums. And you think am being overprotective of you?

AMELIA

(Cuts in immediately, trying to cover up)

I was attacked by hoodlums .

Mr adam
(Stood up ,took his liquor and cup and went inside)

IVAN

( radio screeching, a voice on radio)

MAN ON RADIO

Alpha base ,alpha base , can you read me?

IVAN

Loud and clear

MAN ON RADIO

This is agent Nelson, there has been an attack on us by unknown terrorists, they want the minister’s
daughter, we need help, do you copy?

IVAN

Copy that , am on my way .

(Turns to amelia)

I have to go now

AMELIA

Be careful

(He runs off )

Scene 4

EXT : NIGHT

(Terrorists and state police and secret service agents having an open fire, many men already gunned
down and some trying to hold off the terrorists till help arrives, agent Nelson severely wounded by
bullet as he tries to protect the minister’s daughter)

AGENT NELSON

(Struggled his hands into his pocket and brought out a phone and made a call to the minister)

2.EXT:NIGHT

Residence of the minister

(The minister typing on his laptop and phone rings)

MINISTER

Good evening, Agent Nelson

AGENT NELSON
There has been a terrorist attack on us ,sir I don’t think we can make it.

MINISTER

(Removes his glasses and dropped his laptop aside and stood up)

Please keep my daughter safe and hold on, am sending in the army.

AGENT NELSON

(Gasps for breath, the minister’s daughter right by his side)

Yes sir.

(He pockets back his phone and brought out a pistol, as if ready to finish the terrorists, he looked
through the side of the car he was leaning on and saw that the terrorists where shooting on another
direction this time and it was a man coming and none of the bullets could reach him and the man
raised his left hand and a staff came into his hand ,he turned 360°and changed the staff to his right
hand and lightning bolts were shooting out of the staff and a fierce wind from his left hand, and he
destroyed all the terrorists and walked pass without looking back and disappeared into the air.)

IVAN

Motions slow

( few minutes later he arrived the scene with the secret state service squad and some took their
position, Ivan went to help agent Nelson and the others trying to rescue the injured)

Scene 5

INT : DAY

ALTAR OF FIVE

(Six men seated around the table)

KODARK

He is too young to be King, too weak to be a bearer of the powerful staff.

BANQUO

Let the Eagle do what it likes, nature has given it flight. He is King Orion, Lord of the staff.

KODARK

Eagle is King for a reason, when it flies to low into another territory it becomes a prey.

ADARH

He is claiming God of the human world, interfering in humans business.

BANQUO
There’s a thick line between intervention and interference . If you wish to go to earth and make a
difference then go ,Don’t be blinded by envy.

ADARH

Speak carefully

BANQUO

I will ,as long as you tread with caution .

ADARH

You are fourth in rank, You will do nothing (hits his hand on the table and brings his face closer ,his
eyes flashing lights)

UKII

Enough !!!(he yells angrily)

ADARH

I challenge you banquo god of fire to a fight, in seven days lets meet before the people of the earth,
once the wind leaves his home.

BANQUO

(His eyes flamed up like fire as he breaths out smokes ) i take your challenge .

ADARH

So be it.(He gives banquo an unfriendly smile)

EXT; DAY

Inside the forest

(Groups of terrorists having a meeting with another group of terrorists )

ALLADIN

Salam maleku

JIHAD

Maleku salam

Am sorry about the death of your men , I feel your pain my brother.

ALLADIN
They would have succeeded in the mission , a fearful stranger showed up and killed all of my men. I
believe he was invited by agent Ivan.

JIHAD

Ivan is a small boy who now stands on our way, for now maybe we should deal with him before getting
the minister and we would also destroy half of the town so they can feel pain too.

ALLADIN

How do will deal with the stranger?

JIHAD

One of us serving in the army has taken up the investigation and the president is fully in support of the
investigation, in this country, those in power always fights against those who rises for justice.

ALLADIN

In few days time we will visit Ivan’s House and we will make his life miserable ,and I want his sister alive,
I Want to make him feel my pain too.

JIHAD

No problem my brother, for the death of our brothers.

(they all cocked their guns and started shooting skywards and immediately one of them got hit by a
bullet from unknown direction and they started firing towards that direction, then some soldiers
came out and there was an open fire as many actions took place ,some soldiers killed and some
terrorists down as well)

Scene 7

EXT : DAY

State service department

(All officers of state service department both male and female in an open office, some busy with there
laptops, some doing interrogations. Agent Nelson and Ivan having a discussion)

IVAN

That’s weird.

AGENT NELSON

I’ve never seen anything like that in my life before ( talking intensively and in a low tone as if not to let
anyone overhear there discussion)

IVAN

Any description of him ?did you see his face?

 AGENT NELSON

Though my eyes were faint, his face was kind of blur and his eyes like blood diamonds, he wore a suit
and a bow tie with a hat on his head.

IVAN

There was only one person i saw that same night dressed like that and the way he spoke.....maybe am
mistaken

DIANA

(Cuts in)

Agent Nelson, you have visitors, doctor Edwin and major Collins are here to see you.

IVAN

Please, Bring them in.

DIANA

Alright sir

(She Leaves)

IVAN

(Turns to Agent Nelson)

I believe they are here to ask you questions based on the strange deaths of the terrorists, just tell
them exactly what you saw.

AGENT NELSON

Why would the army be interested in this? Shouldn’t this be ours to handle?

IVAN

The marks on those bodies are really very strange.( he stands up and walked away)

(Doctor Edwin and major Collins walks in )

DOCTOR EDWIN

Good afternoon officer, am Doctor Edwin and with me here is major Collins of the Nigerian army and we
both want to have a talk with agent Nelson.

AGENT NELSON

Am Agent Nelson and you can both have your sit.

(They sat down)

Two nights ago you and your men had an open fire with a group terrorists and there were strange marks
on their dead bodies and Mr Edwin here carried out an autopsy on one of the men and it resulted that
they were killed by an overcharged energy, more like an electrocution,a kind of weapon we haven’t seen
before.

AGENT NELSON

Yes ,that’s true and we are also making our investigations on that of which the minister is aware.

MAJOR COLLINS

Yes, we also as the Nigerian army and according to the words from the president that we also take part
in this investigation to know whom exactly we are dealing with aside from the terrorists.

AGENT NELSON

During the open fire, a man on a cooperate outfit with a hat on his head showed up and he held a staff
and lightning came out of it and killed the terrorists and he disappeared.

(Major Collins and Doctor Edwin both looked at themselves and turned to agent Nelson)

MAJOR COLLINS

Well, agent, your information has been useful, let us know if you found something that adds up, thank
you very much. (The shook hands and left )

SCENE 8

EXT:DAY

AMELIA AND HER FRIENDS IN A BAR.

HANA

Amelia stop justifying him ok?, he isn’t worth it, his words doesn’t match his actions and that my dear ,is
called manipulation.

REBECCA

And he gaslights you every time he refuse to be held accountable for it , so just stop justifying the damn
scars just because you love the asshole holding the knife to your tender throat .

AMELIA

Just can’t get my mind off him,

(she drinks from her glass cup)

how did i let myself be used like this, he told me often that he loved me and that we were gonna get
married, he made me feel like there was an “us”, and I believed him (she starts sobbing)

EMILY
Com’on amelia its ok, anyone could have fallen for that, but we need to be honest with ourselves ,that’s
what friends are for. Maybe It must have been love but is over now (she looks at amelia ,shakes her
head and sips from her drink)

REBECCA

He’s not worth those tears at all, in life we all make choices that we thought would make us happy and
we can’t be careful enough because life is so unpredictable but most times we are just one decision
away from happiness and one fucking decision away from peace of mind .

HANA

Rebbeca ,Language please (he looks at Rebecca and Rebecca gives her an “i don’t care look"

(Derrick, amelia’s boyfriend works in with his friends and took a sit)

Ned

Hey bro, your girlfriend is here.

(They all turned looking around)

RANDY

Hmmm, seems she didn’t tell you that she was throwing a party .

NED

With Rebecca in the house Obviously we are cordially uninvited .

ANDREW

Guys ,give me some minutes I’ll be right back ( he heads towards Amelia and her friends)

RANDY

(Speaks in a low tone)

Hey man ,where the hell are you going to? just don’t make any drama out of it.

(While Amelia and her friends were still discussing , Andrew walks into the scene )

EMILY

No, I overheard them discussing on phone, the person in question isn’t an alien, maybe ragnarok of our
time, wiped the whole terrorists with a lightning bolt, am falling for him already (she gives them a funny
look)

ANDREW

Hi ladies
 (All ignores him)

Amelia I’ve been calling you but you aren’t taking my calls .

AMELIA

That’s because i don’t wanna talk to you.

ANDREW

(He looks at amelia’s friends and turned to amelia again)

Can we go outside for some few minutes? I wanna have a talk with you.

AMELIA

And I don’t wanna have a talk with you, Andrew I’ve had enough of your abuse on me , is fucking over
between i and you.

ANDREW

You must be joking right?

REBECCA

No she’s not, you heard the damsel (pouring wine into her glass cup)

ANDREW

Amelia am fucking talking to you ( he yells)

AMELIA

(Stands up and looked at him in they eyes)

Go fuck yourself boy.

( Andrew raised his hand to hit Amelia , Amelia shot her eyes and right up there where Andrew hand
was ,was another hand who gripped him tightly and almost crushing his bone, Amelia opened her
eyes slowly and she saw the same guy he had seen arrested by his brother Ivan, Amelia smiled as she
saw him , Andrew friends came closer looking ready to fight)

Andrew

(Groans) let go off my hand.

NED

Hey ,let go off his hand

(Orion let go off his hand and they attacked him and he beats them, giving them light shocks and they
ran away)

AMELIA
(While her friends sized up King Orion in total admiration, Amelia said in a most angelic way )

KING ORION

Hello...Amelia

SCENE 8

INT :NIGHT

AMELIA’S HOUSE

(Amelia with her friends and king orion all seated with her dad and mum)

MR’S ADAMS

Orion according to myth means a strong hunter.

MR ADAMS

So what have you been hunting?(they all laughed)

REBECCA

Hunting down the bad guys, just like today.

AMELIA

(Giving Rebecca sign not to talk about it)

MR ADAMS

Did you guys get into a fight?

KING ORION

Yes.

( Amelia looked at him disappointed in his response and tried to cover up, while King orion kept his
eyes on her)

KING ORION

What Rebecca said is a line in a story about orion they mythical hunter.

AMELIA

Yes exactly( she smiled at King Orion)

2.EXT:NIGHT
 (Agent Nelson and Ivan standing outside the door as they ringed the door bell and Amelia went and
opened the door )

AMELIA

Hello brother

IVAN

Hello dear

AGENT NELSON

Hi Amelia

AMELIA

IVAN

No, driving by and decided to check up on you guys.

Hello everyone

(Everyone one replying but only orion remained quite and expressionless and still yet to be noticed by
the officers)

MR’S ADAMS

Am sorry I can’t wait to hear the whole story, I’ve gotta go prepare for work, many lives to save. (She
Leaves the scene)

AGENT NELSON

(Looking at orion suspiciously and walked towards him and at this moment Emily was talking to Ivan
so Ivan hasn’t noticed King orion yet)

Am agent Nelson

KING ORION

Am orion (he answered in a low tone )

AGENT NELSON

Oh, is nice meeting you.

KING ORION

Pleasure
(As agent Nelson turned away from orion he paused and turned to him again while Rebecca was just
busy watching them)

AGENT NELSON

Orion have we met before?

(Now ,because agent Nelson was loud enough, immediately Emily and Ivan attention was drawn to
them)

KING ORION

Am sure to remember if we had.

IVAN

You again? Seems you have a little problem with obeying instructions. Amelia you brought this guy
home?

MR ADAMS

Is there a problem?

IVAN

This was the guy I and Amelia had argument about the other night .

MR ADAMS

Oh, i see, he’s a very nice guy .

IVAN

MR ADAMS

One of the advantages of growing old, before people speak you can tell who they are just looking at
them alone (he smiles)

KING ORION

Is been great coming around and am sure to visit next time but I have to go now, there’s an urgent
matter I must attend to.

(Everyone just staring at him, then he leaves and closed the door Amelia went after him but he was
gone ,Amelia looked down to the floor and found a letter saying, coconut 8pm, don’t be late and don’t
be too early ,she smiles, then hides the letter and went inside. )

SCENE 9

EXT:DAY

SECRET SERVICE DEPARTMENT

(An attack has been made on the department by terrorists, they were shooting as to kill everyone,
and destroy the department, some of the SSD were shooting back and some taking cover as the agent
Diana already hit by a bullet at her ribs side and was bleeding heavily and coughing blood)

2.INT:DAY

OFFICE OF THE MAJOR

(Major Collins received a telephone call and replied with “i will buy you some time “he drops the
telephone and took a large moulded weed and put it in his mouth, as he was about to light it, a junior
officer came in with a rush)

Officer Douglas

(Officer Douglas is one of the army finest, brave and strong, he was also Diana’s boyfriend, He
salutes the major, as he was breathing heavily)

Sir.

Major Collins

(Acting reluctant)

What is it Douglas?

Officer Douglas

I got a message from the SSD, there has been another terrorist attack on the department, o
need your order to deploy.

Major Collins

(Concentrating on his news paper with his weed in his mouth and then looked at Douglas, he removes
the weed from his mouth)

Well I haven’t received any message yet, so stand down.

OFFICER DOUGLAS

Sir ,people will die.

MAJOR COLLINS

I said stand the fuck down

OFFICER DOUGLAS

Yes sir (he salutes the major again ,feeling bad, then he leaves and was seen in the hallway
on a slow motion, his face looking though)

2.INT

STATE SECRET SERVICE DEPARTMENT

(Terrorists are seen walking on slow motion and all looking dreadful towards the main building of the
SSD, one of the terrorists brings out his knife and straightened his neck then he smiled, meanwhile
some where still waiting at the entrance)

3.INT

OFFICER DOUGLAS HOUSE

(Douglas dressing up on a war kit, he opens his wardrobe and took a pistol and a bigger gun and he
hangs it over his neck and leaving his house ,just outside his house was some other army officers sent
by major Collins to watch Douglas moves, Douglas shocked at seeing them )

OFFICER DOUGLAS

(Brings out his gun and points at them)

We don’t have to do these.

BRIGADIER ROLAND

(Brings out his phone)

Hello major ,

We followed him.

(Douglas Breathing heavily and looking at Roland)

BRIGADIER ROLAND

He is in a bar drinking hell into himself .

(He ends the call,other military personnel who came with roland turned and looked at Roland because
it was unlike him to defy others .)

OFFICER DOUGLAS

Please let me go, am fucking begging you people .

BRIGADIER ROLAND

Douglas , none of us can sit and watch our loved ones die, everyone in that department of the SSD has
loved one who will cry an ocean if anything happens, there are enough arms in the truck outside and
they’ll all follow you, be fast and come back alive.

(They moved very fast)

SCENE 10

EXT DAY

DEPARTMENT OF THE SSD

(The terrorists already had some of the officers handcuffed and moving them outside to throw them
into there van, Diana struggling her way outside in a pool of blood. Just at the entrance was a man
dressed on a long jacket ,his eyes covered with black googles and half of his face masked and a hat on
his head with a staff in his hand, as the staff was covered with sparks of lightning , the terrorists at
the entrance already dead,the terrorists left their hostages and firing at the staff bearer “king orion “
orion killed all the terrorists and walked majestically inside and came out carrying Diana, just at the
gate was agent Nelson and Ivan removing the handcuffs from the hostages and immediately officer
Douglas and his men came in and Ivan pointed his gun towards there direction to identify who they
really where and knowing they were military personnel he lowered his gun, they saw orion and
everyone stood on guard.

OFFICER DOUGLAS

Put her down and drop your weapon .

(Just right before there eyes, King Orion mounted the staff to the ground and they disappeared in a
circling lightening bolt)

SCENE11

INT NIGHT

THE HOSPITAL

(Mrs Adams in her office about standing up from her sit and the door opens and orion walked in)

MRS ADAMS

Who are you?

KING ORION

My name you already know , I’ve stabled her but she needs medical attention, she’s in ward 6 her name
is Diana John and she’s Ivan colleague. She already lost much blood, Save her before death takes her.

MRS ADAMS

You are the wanted man in the news? I don’t know what you want but There are only sick people here.

KING ORION

Yes, because of the wickedness of others , helping them survive is what you are Passionate about.

MRS ADAMS

You were on the news tonight .

KING ORION

Tonight, whatever is on the news wouldn’t save her life ,but you can, you need to go quickly, Good night
mrs adams.

(King Orion leaves and mrs adams makes haste to go and attend to Diana)

MRS ADAMS

Oh.....Diana

(She checks her temperature and uses scissors to cut open her cloth where she was shot and begins to
treat her)

SCENE 12

INT NIGHT

COCONUT LIBRARY

(Amelia reading a book and checking her time )

KING ORION

Hello Amelia

AMELIA

Damn it! You startled me.

When did you get in?

KING ORION

Just now, I had to walk quietly so I don’t awaken the library potter, sorry I startled you.

Its ok ...but what kept you so long ?

KING ORION

I just had to round up some unfinished business ,am sorry for keeping you waiting. (He sits down)

AMELIA

Its fine,(she smiles) i want to say thank you for saving me from those guys .

KING ORION

You are welcome, but you need to save yourself from everything you had with him so you can keep a
healthy heart and a healthy life.

AMELIA

(Bends her face and looked at orion again and smiled as she nodded her head in agreement, looking
like she’s about to cry)

Andrew really caused me so much pain but i don’t know how but I feel much better and safer around
you , without you showing up it would have been another messy day for me and i really want to say
thank you for everything. (Her eyes filled with tears) am such a weak fellow.(tears dropped from her
eye)
 KING ORION

No ,you are not. Is in the eyes of a feeble man that love makes a person weak but actually it makes you
stronger, and it makes sense before the strong, love is a major fragment of the whole essence of life, if
one can not love then there’s no point to live, what is life without love? You are one of the strongest
woman I’ve ever seen.

AMELIA

(She wipes her tears )

Is that what you see? Are you sure about it ?

KING ORION

Is not just something I see but something i know and am very sure about it , hey let’s go home now .

(Amelia stands up and picks up her hand bag as orion stood up too, amelia hugged orion as orion
hugged her back)

MR KOHLER

(Mr kohler is the library potter, an aged man. He claps his hand as if to hurry them up)

Time up romeo and julliet, am closing up .

(They both freed themselves and turned and saw mr kohler ,amelia turned to orion and smiled as
they started leaving)

SCENE 13

EXT NIGHT

(Amelia was seen walking with orion and having a conversation)

AMELIA

So where are you from ?

KING ORION

Am from the stars.

AMELIA

Hmm, Very poetic. Where are your parents ? In the moon?

(She laughed so heartedly )

KING ORION

(Orion looked up and turned to amelia and smiled)

AMELIA
Why were you named orion? got any siblings?

KING ORION

Yes I do have siblings. My name was given to me that destiny be fulfilled.

AMELIA

According to the books written about orion, orion is a powerful hunter who fell in love with the
daughter of a gorgon called medusa, so you are destined to hunt and to love.

KING ORION

You are correct amelia , the books exaggerates but somehow was said to be true.
