Your attention is invited clause 6 of the "Declaration Basic Principles"
to
contalned in our Book of Constitutlon which reads as fo[[ows:-

"That Membersltip of the Lodge will be composed exc{usively of Men and that
it wilt have no Masonic intercourse of any kind with mixed Lodge or Bodies
which admit Women to Membershi7"

ln the view of the above clause lt is mandatory that no Mason or masonic body
under the lndian Constitutlon shalt have any interaction with any Women Mason
in any term, whtch if viotated would amount to violation of Declarhtion of Baslc
'rn
Principtes. You may be aware that the recent Annual Regtonal Grand Lodge
meetlng of Southern lndia, the MW the Grand Master, keeping ln mind the
above principte, has dectined to release the souvenir as it contained an article
from a Women Mason.

ln the circumstances it is directed that the Regional Grand Lodges or the

Daughter Lodges shoutd not entertaln or have interaction with any Women
Mason with regard to the Masonry and they shatl not be entertalned in any of
our assembties inctuding dinner meetlngs, even if they are spouse of our
brethren. lt is atso directed that none of their communication lncluding any
artictes shou[d be pubtished in any of the publications of the RegionaI Grand
Lodges or Daughter Lodges or shared among their brethren in any form
inctuding mal[, messages or whatsApp messages. lt is notlfied that vlolation of
the above direction witt be viewed seriousty by the Grand Lodge of lndia and
appropriate action woutd be taken against atl those who viotate the above
directions.
