Madame:

Good day!
May this letter find you well and in good health.
I have written with the intent to request for transfer to San Vicente Elementary School which is
located in my homeplace, San Vicente, Bagamanoc, Catanduanes as instructed by R.A. 8190, more
commonly known as the Localization Law.
I am a teacher from Mavil Elementary School and has been employed since 2018 in the same
school. This year, I have celebrated my fifth year as an educator of the Department of Education, having
shared with the Department some of the bittersweet memories from the past few years due to the
pandemic and other related issues. In my five years as an educator, I have been through some highs as
well as my fair share of lows. In my first year, I have won first place in Mathematics under the sub contest
entitled Math Device. I have coached a decent number of contests that have won ranks both in the district
and in the Municipality. In my school, I am delegated as the ICT Coordinator 1, Finance, ASP
Coordinator, DRRM Coordinator, and other ancillary tasks which I have done extensively to the utmost of
my ability, and now I wish to extend the same dedication to my home school—San Vicente Elementary
School.
To say that it is an honor to serve the Mavilnons is an understatement. I have gained true
friendship with my colleagues, learned a lot from them and sacrificed with them, but at the same time, it
will also be an honor and an achievement to finally serve my homeplace, to gain new set of friends, to
learn from new people, and finally, to serve the children in my community.
It has always been my goal to serve my people. It is my dream to serve my Alma Mater and now
that both of my parents are retiring in San Vicente Elemetary School, I wish to follow their footsteps and
continue their legacy, which will only be possible through your good office.
May this letter be heard and seen, and may you always have the strength to help. Thank you for
