Greetings of peace and goodwill!

I am writing this Letter of Intent to your good office to express my sincerest interest in applying
for a Teacher 1 position. As my resume reveals, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Secondary
Education with a specialization in English in April 2016 at Visayas State University-Villaba and
passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in September 2016.

To continue to develop myself academically, I started pursuing my graduate degree in May 2022
enrolling in the Graduate School of Western Leyte College of Ormoc, City, and currently earned
thirty-six (36) units of the degree Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) major in Schools
Administration and Supervision.

Though my only teaching experience was my internship at Tabango National High School, I
believe that I am ready to take on the responsibilities of a teacher as I have equipped myself with
knowledge and skills I gained through the series of lectures I attended in the graduate school and
the different training and seminars I attended online, such as the 10-Day International Training
on Post-Pandemic Leadership Strategies in Education. In addition, I also have specialized skills
training in Communication Skills Enhancement.

I am confident that my abilities to give instruction, combined with my good interpersonal skills
and professional ethic will make a positive contribution to your school, in the same way, I
believe that your school will allow me to learn more things in my chosen field.
