Objective:
To write sentences in Simple Present Tense using the Personal Pronouns and
the verb TO BE.
Spiritual Approach:
“In the beginning the WORD already existed; the WORD was with God, and
the WORD was God…the WORD became a human being and, full of grace
and truth, lived among us…” (John 1:1; 14)
The verb BE has two Spanish meanings which are SER o ESTAR.
EXAMPLES:
BE (ser)
I am a boy. BE (estar)
You are a girl. I am in the school.
He is a mechanic. You are in the clinic.
She is my teacher. He is in the office.
It is a big dog. She is in the supermarket.
We are students. It is in the yard.
You are my classmates. We are in the classroom.
They are my teachers. You are in the park.
They are in the book store.
