Look for the differences. Part 1
Instructions: This activity is divided in two parts. First follow the
instructions in part 1, then continue with part 2.
Part 1. In one word document do the following: Look at picture A
and write 5 sentences describing what people are doing.
Remember the expressions and vocabulary to describe actions
happening at the moment. Example: Jim is listening to music.
Part 2. Then compare picture A and B and write 5 sentences
describing the differences. Example: Jim is listening to music in A,
but he’s reading a book in B.

1. María is reading a book under a tree.
2. Jim, Paul are on the beach playing with a kite.
3. Helen is walking her dog.
4. Alberto is happy because he received a call.
5. Karen is reading a book but doesn't understand what it says.
1. María is reading a book under a tree in A, but she is drinking
coffee while reading in B.
2. Jim, Paul are playing on the beach with a kite in A, but in B they
are doing the same thing.
3. Helen is walking her dog at A, but is taking her class at B.
4. Alberto is happy because he received a call in A, but in B he is
feeding the pigeons.
5. Karen is reading a book but doesn't understand what it says in A,
