Roof screw is suitable for homemade
wheels with a hole of ¼". Wheels
with bigger holes (from a wheel sup-
plier) need an axle peg in the re-
quired size.
Cut and drill the four parts suction
hose holders and glue them in place.
It is important that the holes line up,
so the suction hoses are straight. To
clamp the parts and drill together
would be good way to ensure the
holes are lined up. After positioning
the steering wheel and the two tool-
boxes, the wheels can be mounted
with axle pegs ore screws. Washers
help make them run smoother.
Fire trucks carry a ladder. Using
two longer pieces of wood/lumber,
(about 10") tape them together on
the ends with masking tape or any
king of tape, mark the holes and drill
through both pieces in one go. Us-
ing a side guide assures the holes are
in one line. After gluing the rungs
in position, the ladder is cut to the
required length and sanded on the
sides until everything looks and feels
good.
A little piece of lumber/wood stops
the ladder from slipping off the back.
You can now proudly show off that
beautiful Fire Engine, or maybe give
it to a very lucky child.
