Comprehends and appreciates grade level narrative and informational texts.
C. Learning Competencies
Correctly spells the words in the list of vocabulary words and the words in the selections
read.

Objectives: At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:
1. differentiate words with different medial vowels
2. read words with short a, e, i, o, and u sounds; and
3. actively participate in showing interest in the lesson and group activity.
4. Identify the tasks given.

II. Content
o Medial words with CVC pattern and short / a/ or /æ/, /e/, / i /, /o / and /u/ sounds to
enhance Phonics Word Recognition.
