The Culture of

Norway
HYTTE
Also known as Cabin Culture. Hytte is known for
being classy and is mostly considered as their
second home. They can be found in Norway at
almost anywhere—having them thousands of
pieces across the country of them. Owning a hytte
is an easy way to spend more time in the middle
of their beloved, natural environment. Many
cabins are handed down through families.

SYTTENDE MAI
Syttende Mai is celebrated during May 17 every year. It is an
occurance that happens every year to celebrate their anniversary
for the constitution that was signed back in 1814 which is the
creation of modern Norway as we know it today. A typical
Constitution Day follows a familiar pattern. From a lavish
breakfast in the morning to parades and live music throughout the
day, Norwegians celebrate their country's birthday party in style.

NORSE MYTHOLOGY
Norse Mythology is very well known across the globe. Thor,
Odin, Loki is part of Norse Mythology and yes they came from
Norway. They believe in them back when Christianity hasn’t
influenced them, it was till around 1000 A.D. Since then, they
didn’t remove that knowledge but removed as belief and made
them part of their culture. If thunderstorm happened, they’ll
say that Thor is beating his hammer.
