explaining how they make an impact
on today’s society.
The main films I’m going to be focusing and  Scenes from The Breakfast Club,

Anyways, John Hughes made a lot of films
in the 80s which most people would
consider 80s classic films, for example A
New Hope from the Star Wars Franchise.  Scene of them messing around in

different types of stereotypical groups, they
have a lot in common based around feeling
horrible and depressed even from the
outside being perfect.

 Wild Child is quite similar to The

They address the same point in a
similar way playing with
stereotypes.  Scene of Poppy shopping in America

How technology improved it  Scene from weird science
 So, obviously there has been a
development of technology like in
the film Weird Science directed by
John Hughes staring Ilan Mitchell-
Smith and Anthony Michael Hall
where they used a computer system
to create their own female character
which is what people in the 80s
thought that’s how computers could
be in the future

Own attempts  Mean girls opening
 For this video, I wanted to make an
example based off a classic teen film
and recreate one of the scenes from
it. I asked 2 of my classmates to help
me out, I chose to do a scene from
Mean Girls because of the fact of ow
well known it is and it shows a lot
for teen film in the 2000s.

Conclusion  Scenes from:
 Teen films have made a -Footloose
development throughout the odd 24 -The craft
years between 1984-2008. Not just -Bing it on/ not another teen movie
based off its graphics but
representation in sexism, racism,
having different expectations out of
people and being negative about
things like LGBTQ+ becoming more
open and accepting. Teen films
helped people see that to the point
where they say that certain films
“saved” them.
 Others would say that certain teen
films would surround their
childhood which is sometimes
meant that it’s a happy/comfort
place for them. It has shown people
that not everyone is the same and
that lots of people have different
kinds of flaws to them, they just
aren’t that noticeable.
