Semester 2 Examination Guidelines & Policies

The Academic Year 2022/2023

1) Students must prepare for the subject exam according to the portion to be tested.
2) No lessons during examination week. Students are dismissed after the exam finishes on the
day.
3) Students must report to school as usual at 7:45 AM.
4) Students are not permitted to take the test earlier, later/after the test date/period for any
reason.
5) Parents are not allowed to pick up the students before the exam ends.
6) Students must have everything they require for the examination with them as they MAY NOT
borrow anything during the session.
7) Authorized materials that students should bring into the examination room are:
• black or dark blue pens (erasable pens are not permitted)
• soft pencil (HB or B) for any diagrams or graphs
• rubber eraser (correction tape or fluid is not allowed)
• geometrical instruments (ruler, compass, protractor)
• calculator
• clear pencil case or zip-lock plastic bag (opaque pencil case is not permitted)
• clear water bottle (opaque water bottle is not allowed) should not be on the table.
8) Unauthorized materials that students should not bring into the examination room are:
• mobile phones
• smartwatches
• technology with communication or storage
• unauthorized notes or revision materials.
9) Students cannot collect anything from their school bags, or another student's once the
examination session starts.
10) Students MAY NOT communicate with each other in any way once the examination session
has started.
11) Students MAY NOT have any pages or books on, next to, or under their desks/chairs while
they are in possession of an examination paper.
12) No school bags are allowed in the examination room. Students are requested to place their
school bags in their respective lockers.
13) Calculators may only be brought into the test when their use is specified.

Semester 2 Examination Guidelines & Policies

The Academic Year 2022/2023

14) Students must remain under exam conditions and in the examination room until they are told
otherwise by the invigilator.
15) Every exam will have five minutes of briefing sessions to brief students on the instructions and
information. Attendance during briefing sessions is compulsory.
16) Students who fail to sit the exam must inform Kepala Sekolah and the homeroom teacher on
the scheduled examination date. In this case, parents must provide a valid medical certificate
for their children to be eligible for further action.
17) Only students who have fully paid the school tuition fees will be eligible to sit for the
examination and receive their school report.
