This years AGM was held on Wednesday 7th September 2011 , a little later than expected but we wanted to get Daisy pulled it off production finished. There was a fair turnout for the meeting, all existing officers were re-elected Sandra Corcoran-Chairman Terry Sharpe- Treasurer Matt Streuli- Publicity officer Carol Campling was nominated and elected to Secretary The following Committee members were re-elected to the committee Donna Rogers Adult rep Vicki Alone-Adult rep Helen Theochari-Adult rep Claire Freeman- Adult rep Jasmine Couchman- has moved from the junior rep to Adult rep Danae Manger was nominated and elected as the new junior rep She is also taking over the role of stage manger for the club In the chairmans report she said about the two very good shows we have put on this year with Snow White and Daisy pulls it off, well done everyone for their hard work and commitment to the club over the last year, also very pleasingly the membership is on the increase, welcome to all new members. The treasurers report stated that at the moment we have 563.66 in the bank , and also a petty cash of just over 200 so we are in a very strong position going into panto full accounts can be viewed if desired just speak to a committee member and they can arrange it,we have had some extra expenditure this year ,incuding a new projector screen for the hall, new curtain tracking and new flooring in the loft,so to still have money in the bank is excellent! Next we had Matts publicity report, increase in numbers reading the new newsletter and our facebook and twitter pages are now more popular than ever, all ideas for publicity and advertising always welcome as Matt is on a very small budget.

matt@ihdc.co.uk Dear Members, I am writing to you firstly to sayand I know I speak for everyone involved; a fantastic well done for Snow White. As quoted in the press its great to see us all pull together with such a buzz and passion. We are a great team. As you may recall after a quick survey a few years back we began to realise many of our members haven't seen a professional musical let alone one in the West End. This can of course make it hard for all of us to enthuse our cast and to explain just an idea of how vital things like a chorus can be. On a personal note, I know how hard they all WILL work and this is a small fun reward too. 01753 652 616

Ive done my best to haggle and once again so I have secured a limited number of seats to one of Londons big hits; SHREK The Musical Join Shrek (Nigel Lindsay), our unlikely hero, and his loyal steed Donkey (Richard Blackwood) as they set off on a quest to rescue the beautiful (if slightly temperamental) Princess Fiona (Kimberly Walsh) from her tower guarded by a fire breathing love-sick dragon. Add the diminutive Lord Farquaad (Nigel Harman), a gang of fairytale misfits, and a biscuit with attitude, and youve got this years must see new musical comedy. Itinerary Thursday 1st December 5:30-40pm - Meet ticket hall entrance of Hillingdon underground station, UB10 9NR. We will go at 5:45pm 7:10pm - Arrive at Theatre Royal 7:30pm - Show Starts 10:15pm - Estimated End Time 11:20-40pm - Arrive at Hillingdon Station for pick up Included in the Price: Underground Ticket + Show Ticket (face value of 55.00) + IHDC T-Shirt (must be worn on night) Non-Refundable Deposit of 15.00 by Wed 26th October Total paid by 28th November, 10:00pm Total cost, per person, 30.00 Saving of over 25 pp

The Witches

Some of the drama gang went to support the Argosy Players based at the Compass Theatre in nearby Ickenham. Roald Dahls magical, scary tale for all the family. Boy, superbly played by Anna Marcangelo, and his grandmother as they take on the terrifying Grand High Witch and her gruesome gang who are plotting to turn all the children of England into mice! The relatively small cast brought to life the spooky goings on with the RSPCC with some clever scenery, use of background music and brilliantly timed pyrotechnics. It is just perfect for the generation addicted to Wizards of Waverly Place or Harry Potter.

We were really proud to support another local group, especially as it starred the daughter of our own Marion Calder. Hope hit the stage running and we look forward to seeing more of here. I could go on and on about the brilliant realisations of many aspects of the book especially the unique and brilliantly entertaining portrayal of Bruno by Sally Munday and the multitasking comic fun from Samir Sheriffbut Im out of room. Well have more reviews soon....
