Pastoral Ministry Office

School Year 2022 - 2023

Explanation of the logo:

Pastoral Activity Kit’s logo speaks about the value of compassion and
generosity of one’s heart. It has three symbols. First is the heart shape it is the desire of
the Pastoral Ministry Office to develop and form PCCians’ compassionate hearts to
the poor especially in this time of the pandemic. Second are the hands reaching out
with each other to promote camaraderie and unity to their community regardless of
their status in life and an expression of living out of the faith. And third, is, the dove
that hovers. It is the symbol of the Holy Spirit, the Lord, giver of life and that will inspire
each other to act for the common good.

Praised be Jesus Christ, now and forever!

Pasig Catholic College as an evangelizing arm of the Immaculate

Conception Cathedral Parish is committed to transform the hearts and minds of
our students. It is in this desire that we made this Pastoral Activity Kit (P.A.K) for
our students that is mainly about their apostolate – the living out of their faith.
The main objective of this is to promote social awareness on different issues
pertaining to Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation and help our students and
their families to be aware of what is happening in our society especially in
present times and act on it following the Pastoral Cycle (SEE, JUDGE and ACT). It
is our hope to help them see and value the gift of life that God has given to
each of us. Aside from promoting social awareness; it also aims to promote
camaraderie regardless of status in life and to draw out from them the value of
compassion and generosity of heart.

As we face the new normal during the trying times of uncertainties and
difficulties due to this pandemic, God remains gracious to us. We are still blessed
in order to be a channel of His grace to others. Hence, we can still continue to
reach out to others and do good things in prayers and in deeds as a way of
living out the faith even at this time.

In line with this, the students’ pastoral activity for this academic year
whose objective is to form the students’ pastoral hearts, will be done in the
comfort of their homes. So instead of collaborating with their fellow students like
what they did in the previous years, students will be working with their families in
the apostolate to fulfill their assigned pastoral activity. The said P.A.K. will be
submitted at the end of the school year.

That in all things, God may be glorified!

Yours in Christ,

Ms. Annie Rose P. Baltazar

Charity Begins at Home Please watch:

Charity Begins at Home is a program CB@H AVP
whose aim is to provide financial assistance
to the less privilege employees of our
Institution, especially the janitors and security
guards; to set an example to all employees
that “no one is so poor to give or too rich to
receive” and to find ways and means of
sustaining and continuously managing the
program’s fund.

Taste and See the Face of Mercy Please watch:

AVP (incorporated in PnP)
This program began when Pope
Francis declared the Extraordinary Jubilee
Year of Mercy in 2015. It challenged us,
PCCians to double our effort as an institution
in serving more the poor in the best way we
can. On the top of regular programs of the
Pastoral Ministry Office, there began a
feeding program coined as “TASTE and SEE
the Face of Mercy”.

Kubol ng Pag-asa: Pagmamahal ng

Pamayanan
This program began last year, when
pandemic strikes. It challenged us, PCCians
to double our effort as a Catholic Institution
in serving more the poor in the best way we
can. It was also with the inspiration of the
“Community Pantry” of Patricia Non that
was a very big help to our community and
encourage others to help in their simplest
way. Through the development of the
COVID19 pandemic, and following IATF
guidelines this Kubol ng Pag-asa progresses
to “Mobile Kubol ng Pag-asa” up to present.

Share-A-Joy Please watch:
A Little of Me AVP
Share-a-Joy is an annual Christmas gift
giving of the institution to different
communities and organization inside and
outside the Diocese. During Covid19
Pandemic this program collaborates with
our Institutional December Fest Committee,
entitled “A Little of Me”.

Adopted Community:
Tambakan Uno
Two years ago, we formally adopted
Tambakan Uno in Brgy. San Miguel, Pasig
City as our commitment to evangelize and
to live out our core value on Social
Transformation. With that, we had different
activities that helped the community to be
evangelized and be socially prepared.

Even during this time of pandemic

which sets limitations in all our activities and
movements we are still committed to
continue our service to the community as
much as we can. We had online
kumustahan with them and had a chance
to visit them twice this academic year
following the guidelines given by the IATF.
