Online and face to face activities can

lead to

We're in the midst of a COVID-19 education

catastrophe. According to this report, almost 168
million children's schools around the world have been
shuttered for nearly a year. With each passing day,
these children will fall more behind, with the most
vulnerable bearing the brunt of the burden.

Students must face this

pandemic with hectic lives and
limited flexibility can now
acquire a great education thanks
to the development of online
education. Web-based
instruction, as opposed to
traditional classroom
instruction, has made it possible
to provide classes all over the
world using a single Internet
face-to-face

MORE FINANCING
• Face-to-face tuition can be quite epensive
• You will have to spend additional money on
travelling and secure parking
• Textbooks are rarely included in the course
price, which means you will have to pay for it
out of your own pocket. Extra expenses.
TIME CONTRAINTS
• Face-to-face classes are at set times. If you miss
a class, it is your responsibility to book an extra
class to catch up.
• Classes vary from early morning to afternoons.
If you have a day-time job or other responsibili-
ties, it might not fit into your schedule.
SHORT-TERM MEMORIES
• Super early in the morning I have had a
difficult time recalling and retaining
information.
• So much information is presented to
students most of the information will not
make into long-term memory

BORING CLASS
• suffered through long and boring lectures
and when I walk out of the room I don’t
recall a single thing, due to lack of atten-
tion.
• if I am running on little sleep from staying
up late the night before I am super tired
and do not pay attention and forget the
information being presented.

DIFFICULT TO PAY ATTENTION IN THE
CLASS
• Classes are based on a certain amount of
minutes, sometime classes are usually like
three hours long.
• Classes that are about 40 minutes long is
a good length of time, but I have had
numerous three hour long classes, which
is very hard to pay attention and learn
significant amounts of information during
that time.
online
Struggling to adapt
• Transitioning from an in-person to virtual
class is much harder than it sounds.
• It makes it difficult for some students to
catch up. Even though many students
tend to be tech-savvy, some might still
struggle with the usage of applications re-
lated to the course.
Physical connection
• The physical absence of a teacher can of-
ten make them disinterested or frustrated.
• It also devoids them of practically doing
things as compared to a traditional class-
room.
Technology Issue
• While internet penetration has grown ex-
ponentially in recent years, in cities and
small towns, consistent connectivity with
good speeds is a problem.
• Without a consistent internet connection,
students will lag behind in learning and
will be to their detriment

Manage Screen Time

• Many parents are concerned about the
health hazards of having their children
spend so many hours staring at a screen.
• Sometimes students also develop bad pos-
ture and other physical problems due to
staying hunched in front of a screen.
Cheating through various methods
• Online students can cheat on assessments
more easily as they take assessments in
their own environment and while using
their personal computer.
• The students cannot be directly observed
during assessments without a video feed.
• making cheat detection during online as-
sessments more complicated than for tra-
ditional testing procedure

the social, emotional, mental, physical, and cogni-
tive development of each student regardless of
gender, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or

tered, assessment-centered
SIMLARITIES BETWEEN ONLINE
LEARNING AND FACE TO FACE
LEARNING
• Both online learning and traditional learning require a great
amount of work.
• Giving and receiving feedback is important in both environments.
• Assignments are a huge part of the learning experience.
• The challenges and rewards are the same in each environment.
• Both require that students manage their time wisely.
conclusion

This pandemic has clearly wreaked havoc on an educa-

tion system that many believe was already losing rele-
vance. Yuval Noah Harari, in his book 21 Lessons for
the Twenty-First Century, describes how schools con-
tinue to emphasise traditional academic abilities and
rote learning over qualities like critical thinking and
adaptability, which will be more crucial for success in
the future.
