 Online education is delivery system that
encompasses any kind of learning that take
place via internet.

• Student –to-teacher
• Student –to-content

 Types of online education:
1. Synchronous learning –Real time learning
2. Asynchronous learning-non -real time
3. Hybrid learning-blended learning
REMOTE LEARNING
 Remote learning is contrasted to traditional learning
 Remote learning take place online, but it strive to create
the classroom environment as the student learns through
computer, android mobile, pad.
 Opportunities for remote learning are linked to
emergency situation.
 The structure of remote learning should include:

• Communication
• Technology

REMOTE LEARNING DURING TO COVID19
• Governments around the world have temporarily closed
education institution in attempt to prevent the spread of the
COVID -19 pandemic.
• COVID-19 has prompted experts to rethink the conventional
mode of education .
• remote education appears to be feasible and alternative
solution to fill in the void for class room education.

• Students and teachers are connecting virtually through digital
platforms like Google classroom, zoom, Teams.

• The students who do not have laptops or android mobile for


those, classes are being conducted through

• For younger children schools started texting homework to


their parents via creating WhatsApp groups or SMS .
• Government intervention – DIKSHA portal, , e-
PATHASHALA, STEM based games, etc.
• Free online programs: companies related to education like
coursera, edx, swayam NPTEL are offering free online
programs and providing free e-certificates after the
completion of course .
• Problems faced by students and teachers:
o Boredom
o Technical issues
o physical distractions
SOLUTIONS
• Interactive, fun.
• Choose online application that does not require much
internal memory or high speed internet connection.
• “Can hear the class but can’t see the slides” shared by
lecturers for that type of problem the solution is to
create respective subject whatsApp group and share
slides.
• Adjust the brightness of screen.
• Don’t look at the screen .
• Odd Timings.
CONCLUSION
• This sudden covid-19 crisis proved that “Education industry is
disrupted but not education and learning process.”
