MEANING OF ONLINE CLASS

• An online class is a course conducted over the Internet. They are generally conducted
through a learning management system, in which students can view their course syllabus
and academic progress, as well as communicate with fellow students and their course
instructor.

• Online classes are generally self-paced, allowing for greater flexibility in completing
coursework. Some examples of online courses are MOOCs, or Massive Open Online
Courses, as produced by organizations such as edX or Coursera. Many traditional
universities offer online courses, including Purdue University via their takeover of Kaplan.
INTRODUCTION
Online education is an amenable instructional delivery process that includes any learning that takes
place via the internet. Online learning enables educators to communicate with students who may not be
capable of enrolling in a traditional classroom course and assists students who need to work on their
own schedule and at their own speed Every discipline is registering a surge in the volume of distance
learning and imparting of online degrees, with remarkable pace. Schools and institutions that offer
online education are also growing in number. Students pursuing degrees through online methods must
be scrupulous in ensuring their coursework is completed through a valued and credentialed university.
Online education is known to offer the benefit of synergy. Here, the format employed makes room for
dynamic communications between students and the teachers. Through these communications, sources
are shared, and an open-ended synergy evolves through a learning process. When each person bestows
a view or opinion through discussions and comments on others’ work course, it benefits the student to
learn better. This unique advantage is manifested in a student-centred virtual learning environment that
online learning format alone can contribute.

RECOMMENDATION TO ACHIEVE INTERNET IN ONLINE CLASS

Examining High Attrition Rates in Online Environments

Online learning may sometimes be a completely new platform for learners, but learners still choose it using several different criteria and
assumptions. Common assumptions related to online learning are that because face-to-face presence is not required, an online platform
will be less demanding on time, will require less effort to manage workload, and will not disrupt the learners’ lifestyle. indicates that some
of the reasons students have for joining online courses is related to financial factors, such as saving money on transportation, and the
ability to continue working while pursuing a degree. research data indicate something similar. When asked about the most important
reasons for choosing online classes, students indicated that they chose online courses based on considerations such as convenience,
flexibility, opportunity to fuse their current lifestyles to their desire to study, availability of programs, and affordability Although most of
these reasons could be valid and viable, they are also indicative that learners do not consider the magnitude of workload and the
required depth of their involvement in the online courses as reasonable criteria to make the decision to go online. As a result, when they
attend the online classes, many of them are unpleasantly surprised to find that the conveniences of flexible hours and lower cost
outweigh the inconveniences of excessive demands on lifestyles, technical issues, and concerns related to the attitude and aptitude of
learners toward a new platform. Online learning environment is very largely self-driven and dependent on the learners’ ability to manage
academic responsibilities, with fewer props than those available in face-to-face classes. If learners have not experienced this kind of self-
imposed academic discipline before, they are very likely to experience demotivation, forcing them to quit. Another factor in this equation
is that many online classes follow constructivist models of teaching, wherein learners are given props and aids to learn, but are left to
solve complex problems on their own. If learners are not comfortable with self-learning and constructing knowledge out of their own
initiatives, the online environment can become intimidating for them.
