growth as well as on social, cultural and
environmental setup of Sri Lanka. The
physical and anthropogenic heritage that
inherited by Sri Lanka from the distant past
have contributed to the development of
tourism industry. Also, Sri Lanka is significant
as a country that provides various tourism
opportunities and a destination for enjoying
holidays. In the recent past, tourism industry
has developed due to the government
assistance. Tourism industry exerts favorable
as well as unfavorable impacts.
