7120 Three Point Hitch Frame

Repairs should include the following specific jobs:

010 - Remove & Install
020 - Recondition
007 - Recondition After Failure

Each of the above jobs will consist of the following:

Each Job should have SMU's For both 1st and 2nd Intervals, a labor time, a component group number
input in the Group Number Field, and a complete parts list with the exception of the Remove & Install
job. When there are two or more of a component, we will use the EACH quantity modifier and enter the
total number of components in the QUANTITY column. The Labor Code for RECONDITION and
RECONDITION AFTER FAILURE will be SHP, while the Labor Code for REMOVE & INSTALL WILL BE FLD.

7120 - FRM -010 - Remove and Install Three Point Hitch Frame
LABOR
INCLUDES: Labor to remove and install the component. Includes all Start By jobs as shown in the D&A
manual.
EXCLUDES: Excessive labor for removal of pins due to poor maintenance such as, having to burn pins
out for removal.
PARTS
INCLUDES: All parts as necessary to be represented by a non Cat part of a predetermined cost. See Chart
for specific costs.
EXCLUDES: Fluids, lines, hoses. Any parts due to poor maintenance or a failure.
LABOR TIME: See chart for labor times.

7120 – FRM - 020 Recondition Three Point Hitch Frame

LABOR
INCLUDES: Labor to replace all bearings, pins, wear plates, rings and locknuts.
EXCLUDES: Labor to repair any type of failure due to abuse or improper maintenance procedure.
PARTS
INCLUDES: Replace all bearings, pins, wear plates, rings and locknuts.
EXCLUDES: Any parts due to poor maintenance or failures.
LABOR TIME: See chart for labor times.

7120 - FRM - 007 - Recondition After Failure Three Point Hitch Frame
LABOR
INCLUDES: Labor for 80% replacement of the component. Use the same labor hours as the 020
Recondition job.
EXCLUDES: Labor to replace lines and hardware if they are not part of the consist.
PARTS
INCLUDES: The group level parts consist at 80% except for cylinder groups (covered elsewhere).
EXCLUDES: Any cylinder, lift arm or loader frame groups in the consist of the group level component.
LABOR TIME: See Chart. (The labor time should be the same as the labor time on the 020 Recondition
job)
