Submission Reminder and Update
Dear Registrant,
We are very much looking forward to receiving your Stage One design submission for the
Guggenheim Helsinki Design Competition.
The three parts of the submission required by the competition (see Competition
Conditions, pages 75 - 84) are:
Submissions must be sent both electronically and physically. Your physical submission
should include a USB memory stick with your full submission. As this is an anonymous
submission procedure you must only use your unique registration number to identify
your submission materials.
Please note: the physical submission is the formal submission, which must be received by
12:00 noon EEST (Helsinki time) September 10, 2014. The electronic upload to the website
is required as a record to complete our data capture, and will not be accepted in the place
of a physical submission.
Postal submissions:
• Parts A and B
• USB memory stick containing Parts A, B and C
Electronic submission:
In a change to the process, electronic submission will now be made through an online
form. The form can be accessed through the competition website at
designguggenheimhelsinki.org beginning September 2, 2014.
The form will include an option for competitors to tag their JPEG images. This option is
being offered to enhance the visitor experience of the online gallery, which will be
available for public viewing. Tags are not required, and the jury will not take tags into
consideration when assessing the submissions.
The two JPEG images (selected from Part B) must be 1600px wide and 1200px high,
landscape orientation, and saved in RGB (sRGB) format. Image 1 should be your preferred
image.
Your deadline is 12:00 Noon EEST (Helsinki time), September 10, 2014 – if your entry
is late or fails to meet the above criteria, it may be disqualified. Expect to be notified of
receipt of physical submission within 10 working days. Please be advised that we cannot
accept telephone or email inquiries.
