Final Project English for Tourism: Copywriting and Content Writing for Tourism
1. Tourism Copywriting Task
Acting as a social media content creator for a tourism destination, curate 9 posts and c
opies (captions) for the destination of your choice. In-Picture Captions and Post Capti
ons MUST be in English. The content guideline for your post should follow the instru
ction below:
 Stunning Scenery: Capture a breathtaking view of the tourist attraction site, whet
her it is a landscape, a landmark, or a picturesque location. Use a compelling capt
ion to describe the beauty and invite followers to visit.
 Behind-the-Scenes: Offer a glimpse behind the scenes at the tourist attraction site.
Show the dedication and hard work that goes into maintaining the site or prepari
ng for events. Share interesting facts or stories related to the attraction.
 Historical Significance: Highlight the historical importance of the tourist attractio
n site. Share fascinating details about its origins, significant events that took plac
e there, or notable figures associated with the location.
 Unique Features: Showcase the unique features or activities available at the site.
Whether it is an interactive exhibit, a thrilling ride, or a hidden gem, emphasize
what makes the attraction stand out from the rest.
 Visitor Experiences: Share testimonials or photos from visitors (by the way, you
are acting as the visitor here) who have had memorable experiences at the tourist
attraction. Include quotes or captions that convey their excitement or highlight th
e special moments they had while visiting.
 Seasonal Delights: Capture the site's beauty during different seasons or special ev
ents. Whether it is the vibrant colors of autumn, a winter wonderland, or a festive
celebration, share images that evoke the seasonal charm of the attraction.
 Fun Facts: Educate your followers with intriguing facts or trivia about the tourist
attraction. Share lesser-known information that will surprise and engage your aud
ience, making them curious to learn more.

2. Tourism Content Writing Task


Make a tourism article based on any tourism of your choice. These are the basic guide
line you can pay attention to in the making of this tourism product:
 Write an article suitable for a travel magazine, a travel blog, or an in-flight magazi
ne. It should be a 2-pages spread, and add pictures to make the article even more i
nteresting to read. Pictures should be professionally taken Stock Photos or Non-C
opyrighted photos, or a well-taken documentation of your choice.
 You are to educated your reader about this selected tourism attractions so be sure t
o use an informative approach combined with the descriptive approach to make su
re you persuade people to come to visit the place.
 The language used MUST be English.
 Submit the file in the form of .pdf to the google drive link given by your class capt
ain
 Be careful of typos and grammatical mistakes.
