3. Answer the next question: ¿Why did you choose to become a tour guide? ¿Porque eligió ser
guía turístico? Write, at least, 200 words.

I decided to become a tour guide, first of all, because it is an excellent option to travel
and explore different places, this will allow me to acquire and share my knowledge
and experiences with other travelers while earning money at the same time, which
would be something very rewarding for me.
Another reason why I decided to study tour guiding is because I am passionate about
the history and culture of a particular place. As tour guides, we can share our
knowledge with tourists and help them to better understand the history and
traditions, through meaningful and enriching experiences that will leave the tourist
with the desire to return or even recommend the tour to future visitors.
Being a tour guide offers both a challenge and the opportunity to grow and learn
throughout your career, constantly. Tour guides must be able to handle different types
of groups, communicate effectively with people from all over the world and think
quickly to deal with unexpected problems. Developing these skills and more in a
complete tourism education will prepare me to excel in each and every tour.
In conclusion, a trained tour guide will have the opportunity to guide many different
itineraries for your travel company, which means you will visit, study and experience
new destinations multiple times. As a tour guide, "working" means being part of
someone's happiest vacation memories. And this is very rewarding.
