In my project I would like to recommend you Barcelona for your summer holidays :)

Barcelona is located in the north east of Spain on the coast of the Mediterranean sea.
It is the capital of Catalonia, and is bordered by France and the rest of Spain to the south.
It’s a city of art, culture and beauty. It is famous for Gaudi's works, museums, concerts and
FC Barcelona’s football team homeland.
The population is 1.6 million on a land area of 101.4 km2.

Barcelona has many nice places to visit:

1) The Sagrada Familia – an impressive cathedral, still under construction, designed

by the famous architect Antoni Gaudí.

 2) Las Ramblas - The Ramblas is probably Barcelona’s most popular street. It’s
famous for its flower and pet stalls and street artists. It is always crowded. In the
XIX century this was the only place in Barcelona that flowers were sold. This is the
place where people from Barcelona used to meet.

3)Barceloneta is the old fishermen´s quarter of Barcelona where the old port meets the beach.
You can find here the best fish restaurants in town and a long sandy beach.

3) The FC Barcelona Camp Nou Stadium ( Barça) - one of the largest football
stadiums in Europe.It was opened on the 24th of September 1957. The first match
that took place in the Camp Nou was FC Barcelona against a team from Warsaw :)
Barca won 4-2.:(

4) You must see The Parc Güell - fabulous park, designed by Antoni Gaudí ,built from 1900 to
1914.
When you enter the park, the first that you see are two houses that look like they are taken
from a fairy tale world. The houses are colored and have round and natural forms. After
theses two houses, you walk up some stairs which are decorated nicely with some mosaic and
a fountain. It is a really interesting big garden which is free for visitors. :)

Barcelona is really beautiful city and it is worth visiting. And it has great weather with
eight to nine months of sunshine :) See you on Barcelona beach :)
