The interview continued with the mathematics teacher with the following questions;

1. Do the pupils show seriousness during lesson delivery?

2. What is the percentage pass after each terminal examination?

3. Do parents come to ask of pupil’s performance?

4. Do you give students report card to be given to their parents?

This actually revealed some of the hindrances and obstacles of pupils in fraction and

mathematics in general. The interview was also used to collect some date from the parent as

well; these are some of the question that the parents where asked;

1. Do your wards learn in house?

2. If yes, what subjects do they like learning most?

3. If No, what do they do in the house after school?

The reason for the use of this instrument was that, direct and genuine information is obtained
from the respondents.
