NAILSEA SKATEPARK RECCE

LOCATION VISIT SHEET

Production title: SKATEBOARDING SOMERSET

Production team: BONELESS PICTURES

Producer: Ben Stevens, Isaac Phillips, Matthew Bailey

Date of survey: 03/10/23

Proposed filming date: 06/11/23

Location Address: Nailsea Park, Nailsea, Bristol BS48 1BA

Permission needed: N/A

Audio/visual problems:

There does not seem to be any obvious cause for concern when it comes to visuals, however the
skatepark is in close proximity to a nearby Tesco car park, which adds minimal car noise to the
background. However, it is not loud enough to be considered disruptive. Other than that, there are
no other audio obstructions.

Weather conditions:

The skatepark is very sheltered by tall trees and foliage, meaning high winds will struggle to reach
the location. However, rain would pose a threat to us due to our equipment, and the fact that
nobody will go to the skatepark on a rainy day. This is something we’d need to check on a weather
app nearer the time.

Continuity:

It is unlikely that anything significant will change in the time between now and when we film.

Electricity/Lighting issues:

Electricity supply is not essential to our production. However, there are no publicly accessible outlets
nearby, so extra fully-charged batteries should be brought for the camera and microphone.
Set dressing:

Due to the nature of our production, nothing will need to be put in place prior to our production.

Welfare:

Toilets and refreshments are both available at the local Tesco, which is 200 meters away from the
skatepark itself. The high street is also in close proximity, with access to a Waitrose, Fish and Chips,
and Chinese takeaway.

Parking/Public transport to location:

There is parking at the nearby Tesco, however you must purchase something instore to avoid getting
fined. Alternatively, there is free leisure centre parking, which is the same distance as Tesco from the
skatepark; only about 200 meters.

Should the team use public transport, there is a bus stop on the high street, about a 5-minute walk
from the skatepark.

Covid 19 restrictions:

N/A

Possible dates for filming:

Any time between Monday 6th November – Monday 20th November, depending on weather, and
interviewee availability.
