Traffic problems:(how will you deal with sound/visuals from passing cars)

There will be traffic issues around our locations this will affect our filming process we will try to film
in less noisy locations and we will film in less busy locations around uphill so the sound would not
affect the filming

Local conditions: (could the weather affect your filming in any way?)

The rain will affect the filming as we need to protect the camera from the rain.

If the rain is too heavy/the wind is too strong then we’ll need to cancel it because the rain and wind
may destroy the camera. We will check the weather in advance before we book and film.

We would need to check the weather before we shoot the short film. We would need the right
clothing. if it rains when we are filming

Intrusions: (passers-by, music, airplanes/trains, general interruptions to filming and audio)

There will be cars and traffic around our locations as well and we would need to film in less busy
places. There will be a lot of background sound around our location we would fix this problem by
getting sound equipment that would block background sound

Continuity: (is anything about the location likely to change during the shoot or if you return to it to
film more than once? E.g. roadworks in 1st shot/ gone in next, poster on wall/gone in next shot)

There might be cars gone from the first shot and new ones added in from the next one, and there
might be people coming in from one shot and different ones in the next shot, so shoot the next shot
asap and make sure there are no people coming through the camera whilst shooting
Electricity/Lighting issues/Sound (will you need an electricity supply and is there access to one? Is
lighting adequate or does it need altering? What sort of sound equipment will you need?)

The camera will need to run on battery – so we will have to make sure it’s charged. The sound will
need to be close to the actors so we can pick up recording clearly. We will need enough SD cards for
filming we might need chargers for the camera as well

Set dressing: (does your set contain everything you want to show in your scene or will it need
something else adding to it to have the impact you want?)

We do not need any other equipment for the filming of our short film

Welfare:(can your crew/talent get refreshments and use toilets, do they need to stay overnight near
filming location?)

There will be places to get refreshments such as shops around our locations

Parking/Public transport to location:

There is a bus to uphill our location called the number five and you can also walk to the uphill or
drive to uphill
