THE REMOTE SURVEY (RECCE)

LOCATION VISIT SHEET

Production title: Jumpers For Goalposts

Production team: aftermath productions

Producer: Corey Campbell

Date of survey: Tuesday 11th May Proposed filming

date: Sunday 16th May

Location Address: Homerton Rd, London E9 5PF

Permission needed:

N/A

Audio/visual problems:

I will make sure that I try to get there at a suitable time such as earlier in the morning so it’s a lot
quieter and that I should hopefully get disturbed less by the traffic as such, as I will be filming on a
football pitch I shouldn’t have to worry too much about any passing vehicles in the background that
may potentially interrupt my filming and again this should be the same with road works as well in
terms of it shouldn’t affect me both visually and audio wise.

Weather conditions:

The weather could have some negative effects on my filming as we are filming in Britain of course
and the weather is never the best but there could be rain which will affect the filming in a bad way
as possibly audio may not be quite as clear and crisp as I may want it and also visually too as the rain
could quite possibly get on the lenses of the camera thus making it harder to see for the audience,
but the wind as well could play a role in affecting my filming as it may be too windy for any audio to
be picked up and the audio could be terrible.

Continuity:
There wouldn’t be any change in any of the different shots as I am planning on filming at Hackney
Marshes as I’m filming it all in one day so nothing should change such as roadworks or anything like
that the continuity should be consistent throughout all the filming at this location.

Electricity/Lighting issues:

There could be some Electricity issues as I could need access to an electricity supply however there
should be plenty of access to an electricity supply within London so I feel that shouldn’t be too much
of a problem but either way all equipment that I will be using for this is fully charged before I set off
for London, with the lighting as I will be outside it may or may not be alright but if the lighting is not
good or maybe even wrong then I will make sure that I change the settings on the camera to suit the
natural lighting that I have.

Set dressing:

The set already will contain everything that I want in the scene which would literally just be a
football pitch and goals but that will already be there before I get there so I won’t need to add the
scene any more than what is already there and it will still have the impact that I would’ve initially
hoped for.

Welfare:

Due to me filming in London there are plenty of places to get refreshments from either street
markets or place open for take-out and again there also plenty of toilets as well however most you
would have to pay for so in advance, I’d make sure that I have change on me, I wouldn’t need to stay
in London overnight as I plan on getting there early to film and spending most of the day filming for
my documentary but we can quite easily get the train back from London back to Weston-Super-
Mare so it shouldn’t be a problem.

Parking/Public transport to location:

I’m planning on getting the train down into London Paddington station which from then I well get
onto the tube/underground station where I will go from central London to East London which is
where Hackney Marshes is and that is how I will be getting down there to the location so I won’t
need to worry about getting any parking spaces or anything like that.
Covid 19 restrictions:

I will make sure that I am wearing a mask when indoors and keeping one metre from other people,
as it would most likely be only me and another member of my family going together I shouldn’t need
to make sure that I am socially distanced from my other crew members and as well as this I won’t
need to be wearing a mask when filming constantly either however when interviewing a member of
the public I will make sure that I apply the 1 metre rule just to be safe on top of all this I must make
sure that I bring hand sanitiser with me and this is so I can make sure that I am keeping my hands
clean and I shall make sure that other members of the crew (my family) are doing the same as well.
