My House.
123 Little Marlow Road SL7 1HG.
Nearest Bust station: Little Marlow Road.
Nearest Train Station: Station road.

Lighting: There is lots of windows so I can use the natural light to light the scenes. However, if the
lighting doesn’t suit the shot is can use the curtains and sun blockers to block how much light I want.
Solutions: Use the sun blockers to use the correct amount of light I want. I can also use the settings
on my camera like ISO and shutter speed to block out some light.

Hazards: I am filming near some stairs so I need to be careful I don’t drop equipment down the stairs
or me or my actors falls down the stairs too. I also have my tripod out so I need to be careful me and
my actor aloo down trip over the tripod and break the equipment.
Solutions: I need to make sure that I have enough room on the top of the stairs form my actor to
walk past and to not trip over. For the tripod I can stick some tape on the bottom of the legs as my
tripod tends to slip a lot but need to make sure the tripod is still straight.

Sound: There is a main road outside my house.

Solutions: Edit the noise of the road to make it quieter also I can use a LAV mic so it is closer to my
actor. (if needed.)

Power: There is a lot of plug sockets so I can charge the camera if need be and use it for the lights
that I might need.
Solutions: I will probably need an extension lead so the lights can reach where I want to be.

The Henley College

The Henley collages RG1 1UH.

Nearest train station: Henley train station
Nearest bus station: Bell street

Lighting there is lots of lights so I wouldn’t need any lights to hire.

Solutions: Make sure that the ISO is too high because it will be too grainy however I can’t have it too
low because it’ll be too dark. I need to find a balance.

Hazards: There can be a lot of people about. I could bump into someone or someone could trip over
my equipment and potentially hurt themselves.
Solutions: Make sure that I choose a time where not a lot of people will be about so no one can get
hurt or I won’t be in the way of other people.

Sound: There will most likely be some noise in the canteen from the people working in there. This
will be good however because, it will make it sound and look more natural.
Solutions: Choose a right time to film when it’s not too busy

Power: There is nowhere to charge my camera or any lights that may need plugging in.
Solutions: Make sure that everything is charged and all is ready to film with.

3
Stroke of Luck
Ellis Island
New York city NJ
O73O5 ZIP Code.

Hazards: I am filming on a boat to the Island so I need to be careful I don’t drop any equipment of
the boat or make bump into anyone else as it will be busy.
Solutions: Find a corner of the boat that won’t be crowded so I can’t bump into anyone.

Lighting I can’t control the light it will be natural and I don’t have any lights with me.
Solutions: Find a time of day where its not to sunny or too dark. If in doubt I will have to make do
with whatever because we aren’t there long.

Power: No plugs or power sockets.

Solutions: Make sure that my camera is fully charged.

Sound: I can’t help all the noise as there will be a lot of people
Solutions: Find a space where it isn’t too crowed but I want to hear people in the back ground to
make the experience to the viewers more realistic in that Andy has made it.

Stroke of Luck
Brooklyn Bridge.
New York City
New York, NY 10038, USA

Hazards: I could drop my camera through the gaps, there could be a lot of people about early
morning.
Solutions: Make sure that I have my camera on a tripod so I don’t drop it and make sure that I wait
until I have a clear path to film as I would be walking backwards.

Lighting: We are there at sun rise so that will be the only natural lighting. I can’t take any lights of
the New York trip with me, they are too big to carry around and to travel with.
Solutions: Make sure the white balance is suitable for the weather. If the sun rise is good I won’t
change any settings as I feel having the raw footage will look better. I can also colour grade if needed
in post-production.

Power: I will only have my camera there will be no plug sockets or anywhere to charge my camera.
Solutions: Make sure my camera is fully charged before filming.

Sound: Because we are there at Sun rise there probably won’t be anyone about except for a few
tourists.
Solutions: I a get a mic to only hear his voice if the scene has any words, if not I think the people in
the background will be better in the production as it would give a real NYC atmosphere and tell the
audience that he has made it.

Stroke of Luck
Canteen:

Lighting: I could take a small light because I don’t think I will need to but I might take a small one just
in case. The lights are big and bright.
Solutions: When I go to film I need to make sure the ISO and white balance and shutter speed is all
ok because I don’t want to have any flicker on the shot because of the lights.

Hazards: People could get in the way as it is a busy part of the collage. There is also a food prep area
but we don’t go near that and no hot food is transported through the canteen only in the kitchen.
Solutions: I will tell my actors to come and film after collage as that time will be less buy and no one
will be in there.

Sound: It can be quiet echoic in the canteen and if there is some people in there the sound travels
and could easily be audible to the listener.
Solutions: I need to hire a mic and make sure my actors can film after school in the canteen

Power: If need be I can charge my camera if the battery is running low I shouldn’t however as it will
already be fully charged and won’t be filming for that long.
Solutions: Make sure all equipment is charged before filming.

6
Stroke of Luck
Art Room.

Hazards: There is a lot of art round the floors and tables.

Solutions: Make sure we film in an area where we won’t be in the way of any art supplies I don’t
have any big pieces of equipment so I will be clear of hitting anything but I should ask the teachers
permission if I can move anything.

Lighting: The same issue as the canteen there are lots of big lights around so it will be quite bright in
there.
Solutions: Make sure the ISO and shutter sped are suitable for that environment. I can do a practice
shoot of a scene if need be to set what it is like then adjust the settings from there.

Sound: We are going to film after school so no one is going to be in there.

Solutions: we will film around the coroner away from people and we have told the teacher we will
be using that area and said it was ok.

Power only having my camera there and the scenes we are filming won’t take long there are plenty
of plugs in the art room.
Solutions: Make sure my camera is fully charged before filming.

Stroke of Luck

Weatherspoon’s
RG1 1UH.
Nearest train station: Henley train station
Nearest bus station: Bell street

Hazards: There is going to be people around so I need to be careful I don’t hit anyone or get in
anyone’s way.
Solutions: We are filming early morning outside so that reduces the risk. I asked the manager if it will
be ok to film outside he said it would be fine because its empty anyway.

Power: If need be I can charge the battery in Weather spoons but I can’t be there too long as it will
get too busy and will have to get back and edit.
Solutions: Make sure my camera is fully charged before filming

Lighting: I am filming outside so only the natural light will be used I don’t need any lights as I haven’t
hired one out nor do I think I will need it.
Solutions: Make sure the ISO and shutter speed are suitable for that environment and also white
balance too.

Sound: We are in a pub garden although we are outside there still might be some people out there
who are eating or having a convocation.
Solutions: Hire a microphone so I can get the actors voice directly and that would allow me to not
get any back-ground noise in the shot.

8
Stroke of Luck
Henley college car park

Power: There is no plugs to charge my camera or lights if needed.

Solutions: Make sure I charge my equipment before I shoot.

Lighting: It would be more dependent on the weather if it is sunny I won’t need any lights however if
its dark I could benefit from some small lights
Solutions: plan the weather in advance and hire some equipment like lights just in case

Sound: There could be some noise of the cars or some students in the car park.
Solutions: Film in the afternoon as that will be the quietest as not many students leave in the
afternoon

Hazards: We are in a car park and could risk getting hit by a car or damaging a car while filming
Solutions: Film away from the majority of cars and make sure there are no oncoming cars while
filming.

Contingency Plan.

When I use the art rooms, I will have to make sure that I’m not interrupting
any exams going on at that time. If this dose become an issue, I can ask
permission to use the classroom after school. I will ether e mail the teacher or
ask in person as I will get a response quicker.

I need to find a place to have a café or a setting where people would and talk
about there issues and how to resolve them. I am to find a café like Coppa or
cote as I like the big windows in the interior. However, if I don’t get those
locations, I could ask Wetherspoons as it has an outside area and not many
people would be out there if I film early on in the morning.

If my main actor doesn’t show up, I have a second choice in Freddie Johnson. I
still need to do auditions, but he said he would be up for the role if need be
and I would be happy to have him in my production. For my other actors I have
made sure that they are ok to do those days of filming so there wouldn’t be
any problems. If a situation occurs when they are stuck in traffic or late or
some reason my plan is to just film when they arrive because I don’t need to
film in a specific time period but will have to suit the rest of the actors which
I’m sure it would.

Costumes will be a bit of an issue but for the most part they will be ok. Keeping
continuity is key so I need to make sure that all the actors clothes stay the
same for each scene. I can’t film for the whole day because I need time to edit
what I have and make sure everything is up to date so I will make sure to tell
them to wear the same clothes on the next shooting date. I will also message
them as well just in case they forgot.
If they do forget or something like their trousers were in the wash it would be
ok as I would aim to shoot about the waist any way and not many shots where
we see the whole body. If it is something like a jumper or a T- shirt I will
mention that its ok and nothing to worry about, because there is nothing, I can
do about it. I will say do you have anything that colour or like what they wore
and that’s how I will resolve this issue. If not, I can adapt the script in some
way that still make sense and not interrupt the production.

Foley sounds

Pencil: I feel like it would make sense to hear the pencil going around the page
while he is drawing so the audience understands that he is actually drawing.

Front Door: The road could be an issue in front of my house. The sound will be
used in the opening scene if the road is too loud when my actor opens the
door and sees a letter and a parcel on the floor. If the traffic isn’t too bad I will
keep the original audio.

Music:

John Lennon New York city

Frank Sinatra New York New York

Dave and Sam I’m on my way.

Props List

Money: Money is used at the ending scenes where the rich man gives Robert the money.
The money will be in £50 and delivered in a black duffle bag. This is a sign that they have
completed the heist and the money is there’s. Robert and Vincent then bury the extra
money to hide the evidence, given by the rich man.

Art Supplies: These will be seen throughout the production as they are a key for Andy to use
while he paints. This will be things like paint brushes and canvases. There will also be
pictures that Andy have drawn around in some of the shots to show how he is felling as he
sometimes expresses his emotions by drawing.

Duffle bag: I want the money to be given in a black duffle bag as that is the most common in
a heist film. This will be one of the ending senses and the money will be inside of this bag. It
is given by the rich man to Robert.

Mask: This will be a black mask and worn by Robert so he doesn’t get recognised by a rich
man. This will be in one of the last scenes and a mask is a staple in a heist film and it would
be fitting to use a mask in this scene.

Car: The rich man arrives in a white car. We don’t see him drive it but he is waiting by the
side of it. The car is a Volkswagen. Again, this is used at one of the ending scenes.

iPhone: Robert phone is an iPhone 10 and we see him use it throughout most of the
production. He then buries this with the extra money as he wanted to hide the evidence. He
explains that he can always buy another one as he is rich and from a rich family.
