My aim is to see if me final production is good enough to compete
in my Raindance competition 2022. It’s a worldwide competition
that gives young filmmakers a chance to show their skill.

My short film pushes the limits on what happens after death and
even before we existed.

I got the original idea from thinking about life and death. As a
result of this I decided to make a short film.

I will try to interview or do surveys and asking what they believe

happens to get a more accurate understanding of what could
happen. I will be helping myself along the way by researching and
analysing short films, documentary’s and directors and
screenwriters with an analysis of their work to hopefully make my
time planning and shooting a little easier and enjoyable.

I also aim to try and send messages throughout the short film and
to make the audience feel like they need to live in the moment and
enjoy the good and bad times. The film will be a reflection on
everything that’s happened during the dead person’s life and
trying to wonder why he found himself in that situation.

I want the piece to appear easy going and to just relax and really
think about the life you are living. This is because I think that in my
age group (16-24 years old), will understand the concept and gain
a relatively good understanding of the message.

Having all these ideas are good to have but because we are
working for examiners and Raindance there are some rules and
regulations that we must follow to make our entries valid for
marking and to compete in the Raindance competition.

• My short film must be under 45 minutes long.

• No corona virus related themes throughout any of the given
mediums we choose
• We can produce ither of the following: short film, feature film,
music video, animation (stop motion) and a factual
programme.

When it comes to ethical and morale issues in my production there
