1. Floating Weir Skimmer

The Floating Weir is a mechanical skimmer designed to recover wide range of free floating oil
(viscosities ranging from light to medium), and scum from the surface of water.

The Floating Weir skimmer is a self-adjusting free floating skimmer, and the height of the intake
weir is self-adjustable allowing the skimmer to efficiently remove thin or thick layers of oil or
floating pollutant.

The Weir skimmer framework is manufactured from S.S. 316 and consists of central intake weir.
Camlock coupling or Flange as required by Client is provided on the weir intake for connection
of discharge hose.

Skimmer is designed to handle small floating debris without any interruption to the skimming
operation. It is provided with a single point lifting arrangement for ease of deployment from
one place to other.

GUIDE ARRANGEMENT

Considering the heavy volumetric flow of liquid through the channel, a Guide arrangement
is proposed for the skimmer.

This guide arrangement will retain the skimmer in position, and shall also compensate the
level of skimmer during variation in water level.

The guide assembly will be made from S.S. 316 structural sections, and shall be grouted on
the civil structure.

2. Oil transfer pump

The oil transfer pump will be a progressive cavity screw

pump in S.S. 316 construction, and will be mounted on the
civil structure besides the channel.

The Oil transfer pump will have a capacity of 3.0 m3/Hr, and
discharge head of 20 mtrs. The suction lift of the pump is 3.5
mtrs. depending on the viscosity of the liquid handled.

supply or 24 months from the date of commissioning whichever is earlier.

Under this guarantee and warranty, we undertake to repair at our option the
Adjustable Weir Gate or any defective parts thereof that need repair by reason
of defective material or workmanship within the guarantee and warranty period
provided that, if we so require, the Adjustable Weir Gate /parts are sent to our
works as we may determine, at the buyer’s expense.

This guarantee and warranty will lapse if the Adjustable Weir Gate is opened
