“උතුරින් නෑ ගම්” Jaffna Hindu College & Ananda College Colombo Sports Festival -2023

It is with great pleasure and excitement we announce, “උතුරින් නෑ ගම්” Jaffna Hindu College &
Ananda College Colombo Sports Festival -2023, one of the significant sporting events of ACOBA, to be
organized from 21st to 24th of March 2023 by the Ananda College Old Boys Association (ACOBA).

In addition to the cricketing encounter for the Sivagurunathan Trophy, an English debate, a Basketball
match, and a chess tournament will also take place between the two schools for the “Panikkar-
Thanabalasingham Trophy”, in memory of two illustrious teachers who excelled in teaching both
schools.

Further, the second edition of the “Arjuna Ranatunga Challenge Trophy” between old boys of both
schools will be held adding excitement and glamour to this festive sports celebration with the participation
of several Old Anandians who represented the national Cricket team of Sri Lanka, including World Cup
Winning Captain Mr. Arjuna Ranathunga.
