This annual event starts with a two-kilometre symbolic run around the
city center and ends at the ANZAC Memorial Monument at Jalan
Tugu, in front of Kota Kinabalu City Hall building. A wreath-laying
ceremony is then held to commemorate those fallen heroes during the
