20th Punjab kickboxing championship 2023

20th Punjab Kickboxing Championship 2023 was organised by Punjab Kickboxing

Association at D.A.V Edward Ganj guest House, Malout from 12.05.23 to 14.05.23.

•Feeling immense pleasure to announce that our Sports Coach *Mr. Nirmal Singh won The
silver medal senior Punjab Kickboxing championship in-94kg Point fight & bronze medal in
kick light

Sahodaya Inter School Slogan Writing competition

Two of our Students Varun Kumar (X-D) and Lalit Singh Bora of Class (XII-A) of our school
participated in Sahodaya Inter School Slogan Writing competition held in DRV DAV Centenary
Public School, Phillaur.Total 26 Schools participated in the Competition.
Lalit Singh Bora has won *Second Prize*.His topic was Quality Education under SDG-4.
Outstanding Performance of Shiv Jyotians in SOF International
Mathematics Olympiad (2022-23
SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (2022-23)* was held on 10 November 2022 for
classes 3rd to 7th & 8th to 12th.

•Total 114 Students participated in the Competition enthusiastically.Out of which 27 Students

bagged *Gold Medal* under the guidance of their Guide Teachers Mrs.Minakshi Shukla &
Mrs.Mamta Dhingra.
It was Co-ordinated by Activity Coordinator Mrs Bhavna Sabharwal .

General Knowledge Olympiad (2022-23)
Bloomcap Science Olympiad (2022-23)* was held online on 12 November 2022.
•Anaya Kakkar (VIII D) bagged 1st rank at National level and got Gold medal + 2000/- cash
prize
Sushant (VID) got bronze medal under the able guidance of their Guide teachers :
Mrs. Latika Sharma ,Mrs. Shallu Sood & Mrs. Sapna Vaid

•Bharat Puri (XI D) got Silver medal under the able guidance of the Mentor : Mrs. Nalini

3rd Punjab state curling championship 2023

3rd Punjab State Curling Championship 2023 was organised by Curling Association Punjab
hosted by District Curling Association at Shri Guru Harkrishan International Public School, D-
Block Ranjit Avenue,Amritsar.

OutstandingPerformance of Students of Shiv Jyoti Public School in
3rd State level Mansuria Kung-Fu Championship 2023 Jalandhar
3rd State level Mansuria Kung-Fu Championship 2023 Jalandhar was organised by Thub Blao
Kung -Fu Academy .
Our student brought laurels to the institution held at Gauri Shankar Mandir ,Kalia Colony,Near
Verka Milk Plant Jalandhar (Pb.) on 23April 2023.
•Under the Junior category Girls ,Dariti of Class VII-D won Gold medal in (-46) kg Weight
Category .

NationalAstronomy&Science Olympiad (NASO)

Government of India Ministry of Science & Technology, under NASO (National Astronomy &
Science Olympiad Award Level-1) conducted by NASO Educational Society & Navars Edutech
was held in the month of December 2022.Total 26 Students participated from classes (8th,9th
& 10th).

Three students of our school Shobhit Tandon (X-A),Ujjwal Aggarwal (X-A) & Rehani (IX-D)
got gold medal under the guidance of our Science Mentors Mrs.Latika Sharma,Mrs.Sandeep
Saini .All Students & guide teacher received certificates.
•Our Management,Principal Mrs.Parveen Saili congratulated & extended their blessings to the
participants & their proud parents.
