1. HOUR
Icebreaker: Have students stand in a circle and introduce themselves, sharing their favorite
movie or play and why they like it.
Group Stretch: Lead a brief physical warm-up to get students energized and comfortable
with movement. Simple stretches and deep breaths will do.
Lead a brief discussion about why drama is important and how it can benefit students.
Encourage students to share their thoughts and expectations for the club.
Highlight the various skills they can develop through drama, such as communication,
teamwork, and creativity.
Begin with a brief discussion on what drama is. Define key terms like script, character,
dialogue, and plot.
Show a short video clip of a dramatic performance, (a famous scene from a movie or play).
Discuss the emotions, expressions, and elements of drama observed.
